This hotel is very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was clean. The restaurant and bar had excellent food and drinks. We were in town during the rare snowstorm Portland had. The front desk was very accommodating to help us secure rides to our appointments. It's an excellent location. Plenty of restaurants and attractions near by.

Really liked this place. Very modern decor, they have a nice bar/restaraunt. Rooms are spacious and well done. I thought the price was more than fair for the location and the quality. It's located about 5 blocks S of the city-center, so it's easily within walking distance of there, and another couple of blocks to Powell's Books if you want...

Steve K, We do have a great location and Portland is a walking city. Our blocks seem so much shorter than other cities’, maybe it’s because they are or maybe it’s because there is so much to see while you walk here, coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, and everyone’s favorite attraction Portlanders ourselves! We were so happy you enjoyed your stay...

We were ready to give the Modera a great review after our recent stay in one of their King Suites, but when it turns out we really needed their help, they gave us even more reasons to applaud their exceptional service. During our overnight stay our car, which was parked just on the street outside the hotel, was broken into....

The room was good though no air conditioning was functioning and had to open the window - a bonus in hotel these days. The locate is ideal to see downtown Portland and I appreciate the modern design though that may be more appropriate a few years ago. Yes I would stay there again.

We look forward to seeing you again! The windows that open and allow you to get fresh air is an amenity that we are very pleased with as well, sometimes HVAC air just doesn’t cut it. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. The rooms were nice, the hotel happy hour was good and convenient, but the best part about our stay was the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable about everything going on in the city. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

When we booked this hotel we were told it is in 'downtown' but the Portland map shows it in 'university district' so we were surrounded by office buildings, not stores & bars etc. We're walkers so it was fine walking into downtown and for those that aren't able to, the bus/train can be caught quite close by. Smaller sized room...

Delightful, in-town hotel within walking distance of just about everything. Staff were courteous and helpful, room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant, while not owned by the hotel, had great breakfasts and good service. We parked next door and avoided the $ 30.00 parking fee which, from reading some reviews, can be avoided by the deals one...

Great location in downtown Portland. Close to many restaurants. Johnny the concierge was very helpful! Room was clean but what sounded like a generator would go on at night making it difficult to sleep.

This was my third stay at Hotel Modera and, once again, it didn’t disappoint. The hallmark of Modera is the outstanding staff and their attention to the guest’s comfort. You can’t beat the warm welcome and quick check-in at the front desk or the friendly greeting of the housekeeping and maintenance staff as they go about their duties. All of...

We chose this hotel because it was in Portland and we didn't want to drive too far from PDX to find a place to stay after traveling. It is in a decent location but honestly I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels in several different states that were better than this. The room with one king bed was rather...

Matsuhiker, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Most of our guests appreciate our stylish decor, award winning menu, and well appointed guest rooms.
