We booked this hotel via Dayuse to wait out the 6hrs before being able to check into our Airbnb. We were welcomed warmly at the front desk by Noah, who was able to check us in quickly to a nice spacious room. The room was clean and perfect for our needs! This is a beautiful hotel, and I would come back to stay on another trip to Portland. Thank you again to Noah, for the exceptional service!

Hotel's Favourite
This is a fantastic hotel. First of all, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location pf the property is great. We never used our car. Most places were very walkable to get to. Our room was huge and has plenty of outlets. We were only here two nights. The last night at about 11:00PM water started leaking into our bathroom. The water was coming from the room above. I called the front desk and had an employee at my door in less than 5 minutes to move us to another room. The staff handled the situation like a true pro. The bar was a great place to unwind and had live music in the evenings. Only issue was the ice machines. Only odd numbered floors have ice machines. I was on floor 7 and never got more than a tablespoon of ice out of that machine. 5th floor was the same. Only the 9th floor ice machine was working. Not that big of a deal. I let the staff know and they were working on it.

I checked in for a three night weekend and was promptly greeted and attended by Noah at the front desk. He was polite, courteous, and answered all my questions! The hotel had lots of amenities to offer and our schedule didn't permit us to attend the wine socials. But I'll definitely make time next time I stay here! We took advantage of the overnight valet service. Jacob and Marcus were always prompt and made sure our vehicle was ready to go! We checked out with the help of Liza and made sure we were all squared away. Overall this place was a stones throw away from yummy restaurants and fantastic shops. Don't hesitate to stay here. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful! They all deserve a raise!

Some of the employees make this hotel a must stay! Daniel (management working at front desk) was fabulous-- 18 hours of travel necessitated my need for food; however, my Doordash app would not work. He stepped in and helped so that I had much needed nutrition that evening. Mike in engineering is also amazing. My TV would not work in my rm (the hotel needs to upgrade the antediluvian TV service!). He came immediately so that I did not miss the show I wanted to watch. He is very helpful, efficient, and friendly.

The hotel is in a great location - highly walkable to good restaurants and shopping. It’s charming with great service and nice perks like cold water, iced tea and coffee in the lobby plus a nice happy hour. We received excellent service from Andy at the front desk and Ray at the bar. We had a serious issue the last night of our stay and Andy went out of his way - including staying past his shift - to make sure the issue was handled and that we were ok.

Nick at the bar is great and the food is lovely. I had a salad and meatballs, good guests and the lobby is clean and nice. Complimentary wine during happy hour, very friendly staff and congenial atmosphere.

Stayed for a weekend out, and was very pleased with what we paid for this room for a busy weekend in Portland vs surrounding properties. Room is very functional but the staff makes this property SHINE. Alex at the front desk made anxious moments breezy and Ray at the bar made the best mezcal cocktail I’ve ever had and made the hotel bar one of the coolest places I went in Portland.

The hotel itself is great but the bar here is AMAZING! We came down for happy hour and drinks at the bar- hands down some of the best tiki drinks we’ve ever had! RJ was great and we tried a couple of drinks he came up with one, but the isle of Bonita was our favorite. It was missing a banana but it was amazing! We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Kimpton Vintage. Andy at the front desk went above and beyond. I booked using points and I thought I would have trouble changing my room from a basic king to a room with two queens after having to bring my son along at the last minute. Andy made the switch effortlessly. He also let us check in super early after a very long flight from Ohio. It was just an amazing experience. Stress free (and I spent the flight worrying we would have to move hotels). The room was lovely and the hotel was in a great central location. We walked to the art museum and Powell bookstore (also voodoo donuts as my son was curious). We missed the wine hour unfortunately. But I can highly recommend this hotel.

An absolute winner. Great location, great staff, very nice rooms and a complete surprise (in a positive way) because we were dumped on their doorstep by VRBO because VRBO screwed up our rental. This is a place that we will come back and visit as soon as we can. We stayed 10 days and loved every minute.
