This was our first time staying at a Hampton Inn and Suites hotel and we loved it!! We changed hotels at the last minute, shifting from a downtown Portland hotel, and we are so glad that we did. Clean, quiet, safe, comfortable and modern with very friendly staff, a welcoming lobby, and super comfortable beds! The hotel is in the Pearl district, a very walkable area of Portland surrounded by restaurants, shops and breweries. The hotel has a 24 hr coffee bar in the lobby, a daily breakfast buffet with plenty of breakfast options and really excellent food! If you can’t stay for breakfast, just grab a complimentary breakfast bag on your way out. Plus you will find a pool, gym and an amazing rooftop deck (BYOB) on the 8th floor with tables and lounge chairs - a perfect oasis! Hampton Inn and Suites - our new favourite hotel chain!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything special of this hotel when I booked it to stay 4 nights as part of a road trip to Seattle.
The first thing that impressed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff when I checked in. They had an easy going attitude which I enjoyed.
Our room was small but adequate and it looked like the hotel had undergone a makeover. Everything provided in the room worked well and I especially appreciated the abundance of USB ports everywhere. The bed was comfortable and we slept well the 4 nights.
Breakfast each morning was quite basic but adequate, and I especially liked the big dining room with plenty of space to spread out in. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cool water were available in the lobby, and there was even a small business area adjacent.
The icing on the cake was the hotel's proximity to town and being able to walk to most of the restaurants and sights. There was even one day when we didn't use our car and just walked everywhere.
This is a surprisingly chic hotel with everything you could need without the unnecessary fanfare. It will be a top contender for me if the opportunity arises to visit Portland again.

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very modern, with a nice lobby and breakfast area, and a bar and restaurant.
We were on the 7th floor and had a really nice view. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfy.
I liked that there was a hot breakfast included, but I wish they provided real plates and cutlery, and not the disposable kind. That creates so much waste!
We walked to some breweries, attractions and restaurants in the area, so we found the location very convenient.
It was nice to have a pool, but a hot tub would be even nicer.

My family of 4 stayed at this hotel and could not be more pleased! The property is located in a beautiful area with great walkability. The staff here could not be any nicer or more accommodating. You can tell that the culture at this property is excellent and they are all wanting to make your experience great! Alex in valet went above and beyond and he alone is a reason to stay at this location just to experience his service. Also Ashley in housekeeping made sure we were taken care of and comfortable This property is very clean and well-appointed and a place all should experience and enjoy. We will be coming back!!

This was my third or fourth time at this property and I couldn’t be happier! I stayed her specifically because Hilton is offering regular housekeeping and that made things feel very comfortable and normal. Two employees that were extra super awesome were Dan the Man and Ashley who went out of their way to be super friendly and the enthusiastic about our stay. Gonna say I am quite impressed with all the Hampton Inns I’ve been staying at lately. This hotel was centrally located to all the sites. Whether walking distance or an uber ride away, it’s located in a not so busy area but close enough to all that you need. We went to the luxury mall a few times on Broadway, and it was about a 12 min walk. There are lots of shops like J Crew, Athleta, etc. within a few steps of the hotel. There are restaurants and bars everywhere; sadly, some were boarded up and closed due to the pandemic/recent riots.
The hotel has a Greek restaurant/bar, that operates independently of the hotel, so you cannot charge your dining experience to your room.
The lobby is big and spacious and is very modernly decorated.
The gym is pretty big. It offers two bikes, four treadmills, three ellipticals and all are Pre-Cor brand. There is a pretty good free weight area with a machine or two. Plenty of room to do abs as well. The gym overlooks the indoor pool.
We didn’t take advantage of the rooftop area, but we did tour it and it’s beautiful. Can bring your wine/snacks/lunch and eat up there for fabulous views.
We had a spacious suite that was also ADA so it was extra roomy. It had a separate bedroom but the doors are sliding doors, not real doors. The living area is huge and bathroom as well (refer to photos).
Hotel is clean and offers complimentary breakfast although we didn’t take advantage of it as we were on a foodie trip and had plenty of restaurants to visit.
Staff was very friendly. We asked for late checkout of 1pm and they were able to accommodate.
Overall a great hotel and great room. Would most definitely stay here again!

Stayed a couple of nights and was impressed with their new cleaning and COVID-19 hygiene processes which made me feel better about traveling. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. Parking was normally $40 valet parking, but they let us self-park in their garage for $20 a day. During our visit it appeared that the hotel had few customers. There's a small shopping store just across the street which is convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay here.

This hotel is the ultimate family friendly experience with the look of class. The pool area is perfect for families of little ones and the staff is very accommodating to kids. The location in NW Portland made it convenient to walk to a lot of fun places, including the infamous Powell Books.

Front desk, valet parking and housekeeping staff were all super friendly. Even though it was Christmas 2021 there was no sign of a staffing shortage except that daily room cleaning was not available. Upon move in the room was spotless clean, and we had no problem getting clean towels. The property is new and it sparkles. Skyline view from the rooftop patio is breathtaking. Location across from World Foods gourmet grocery store was great for casual take out meals. Center of Pearl District location was awesome for restaurants and walks to 23rd St. We already made a reservation to come back on a trip scheduled for June.

"Avoid the area from Chinatown to the waterfront, v sketchy. Around the Pearl District and Pioneer Square is lovely. Definitely get the bus out to the Multnomah Falls. "
