I'm a little obsessed with boutique hotels, and at this point I've sampled a fair amount in my home state of Oregon. And The Woodlark is at the top of my list! From the friendly and helpful staff to the lovely woodsy decor, the super cool bunk suite (my kids were amazed), the coffee outside the door (for suites) -- and then the icing on the cake, adorable stuffed animals gifted by the front desk to my kids at check-out. It was all perfect. And yes the beds were super comfy. The bunk suite was very spacious. The shower and provided toiletries were lovely. The location is super convenient and walkable. In addition to the great "in house" restaurants, we love nearby St. Honore for brunch (in addition to many other great Portland eateries). My kids are already requesting that we stay at The Woodlark again. …

The hotel was very unique and beautiful. Loved the front desk. Rafa and Alarik were amazing and went above and beyond. When we came back down after dropping our luggage in the room, they had a map already marked with spots to visit. The food recommendations were all delicious! Would definitely come back next time I'm in Portland.

Clean and good location. Michael the valet was great and remembered my name from day one. Would stay again. I recommend using the valet instead of parking on the street. Too many vehicles get broken into.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at the woodlark, the restaurant had some of the best I’ve ever had!! The beds were very comfortable and Brigette and Alrik were so kind and helpful when we needed! Overall a very welcoming place and plan on returning

What a great hotel! Clean, super friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, all centrally located. There were offers of free martinis and coffee as well. Breakfast was available, and they have a restaurant attached. We stayed in a standard king, and they accommodated an early check in. We completed check in and check out online, which was very convenient. Per recommendation on here, we asked for a higher room away from construction. No issues with noise. Please note, there were certain aspects of the room design that was strange to us. The bathroom door slides and doubles as the closet door, which meant there was a humorous moment where my husband’s luggage prevented me from leaving the bathroom. Easily fixed by moving it. The other, the door for the shower opens in towards the shower. For somebody in a much larger body like myself, that meant going into the corner of the shower and having the door bump my belly to close it. This won’t be an issue except for a very small percentage of people, and perhaps other rooms have a different layout.…

Thank you Woodlark for such a memorable stay! We are visit time visitors to Portland and this hotel was a highlight. We utilized all the amenities ( which was a first, we usually don’t)..Abigail hall, cafe, happy hour! Thank you for the attention to detail. We can’t wait to be back! Special shout out to Rafa and Bridget for the highest level of customer service and professionalism. Rafa was the first to greet us at the door and made us feel so welcomed. As we came through the lobby throughout our stay he was always available to help no matter how busy flow of the lobby was.

Hotel was amazing great service helpful at the front desk with any questions I had, the rooms were beautiful with a nice note left showing the appreciation they had for my stay, super comfy bed and pillows that I could've slept all day and the Cafe in lobby was excellent I can't wait to enjoy another stay down in the Woodlark

We had an absolute wonderful time using Woodlark as our home away from home. We did our Engagement pictures downtown and wanted a home base to change into. Woodlark was amazing and the staff - Isabelle, Alarik and Brigette were incredibly helpful and accommodating to us even taking photos in the lobby and exterior. Both restaurants are amazing, pre-drinks before at Abigail, and an always delicious dinner at Bullard.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Woodlark! It was our first time traveling without our 5 month old baby, and I was very nervous/concerned about what I would do with all the breastmilk I needed to pump throughout our stay. Isabelle at the front desk personally took care of storing the milk in a freezer for us. She put additional labels on it for us and retrieved it safely when we were ready to leave. She made me feel confident it was well taken care of. It really felt like they went above and beyond to help us with this, and we wouldn’t have been able to bring that milk home to our son without it. Additionally, the property is stunningly beautiful. We were comfortable in the room, which was very stylish and clean. We got coffee in the reception area and ate breakfast there as well, and both were delicious. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. …
