The room was overall very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly! I enjoyed my stay a lot. I liked that the room had blackout curtains, but the buttons were a bit finicky to work with. One lamp in my room stopped working after a day; it was not an issue so i did not feel the need to ask for a new one though. The room is on the dim side, but I dont think that one lamp would have done much. The concrete floors were a bit uncomfortable but because I knew beforehand I did bring slippers for myself! The pillows were also very soft (maybe a bit too soft)! There were some nights the bed felt a bit itchy, I was not sure why. I liked that the Keurig machine had the option of matcha or coffee. The fridge was on the smaller side, hard to fit containers sometimes. Wifi was fast and I liked the gym as well. Valet parking was 52$ a day, a bit expensive but the staff were very nice and took about 20-30 minutes. Any other smaller issues I had, the staff would fix! Just need to talk to them about it. …

This was our first time at the Hyatt Centric. We stayed here one night to get away from the kids. We do stay-cations somewhat regularly, and have stayed at most of the nicer hotels in Portland. We were given a corner room with a king bed on the 13th floor. Big windows with a nice view of the city, lots of natural light. The room was modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the night very much and will definitely stay here again.

Great central location, clean room & great service. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was clean, fitness room was better than expected for a hotel! Would have been lovely to have more vegan dining options in-house, but at least there were great options close by. Cheers!

My first trip to Portland, OR and I was lucky to stay at the Hyatt Centric Downtown. Mykie at the front desk was very helpful checking-in and made excellent local recommendations while exploring the city. Annie at the Covet PDX bar is incredible and made the nights dined in the hotel extra enjoyable. Also, shoutout Trevor in the kitchen of Covet PDX for making the best Cream of Mushroom soup I've ever had!!

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Parking is expensive with valet at $52 per day. Found overnight parking on 11th and Taylor for $20 with in and out priveledges. Parking on the street after 7pm is also an option. Friendly staff and only other issue is an automatic 20% gratuity on any snack or drink frm bar area. Do not agree with that.
