I don't typically stay at places such as the Crystal Hotel and was honestly a bit nervous, especially about the shared bathrooms...but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this hotel now! The rooms are on the small side but comfortable with lovely paintings and decor. The bathrooms were kept extremely clean and I never once had to wait for one (they are private,...

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Fun place to stay, made doubly so with Tripster coupons. We had come to town to visit friends, see family, explore eateries, farmers market, take part in a Genealogy workshop at PSU, and other places in area. Weekend had perfect weather for May in Portland. Location of Crystal Hotel excellent for walking and leaving vehicle in...

This hotel is one of a few go-to "home-bases" for me when I come to pdx. I love the location so that I can just park my car or train up and tromp around to whatever I want independently. The price is fair, I think even with the shared bathrooms and extra noise, because of the location, the rooms are...

All I can say is that this place is magical ! Make sure you read the quote painted around your room. Whatever you do, visit pool multiple times and eat the French toast at Zeus Cafe downstairs. Yummy I'm the one who left her boot! Lol I miss your amazing hotel and my boot! ❤️

We were excited to see this hotel after reading the reviews and we were expecting a funky hotel. First, let me say that the staff is so nice and helpful and accommodating. The restaurant in the lobby is actually quite gorgeous. The hotel is located in a perfect spot for just wandering around. The basement pool is kinda cool, but...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Our apologies for the gloomy room, not all floors have the dark hue on the walls, nonetheless, we appreciate you taking the time to review us.

We came as a family of 3, selected 2 rooms with shared baths. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bathrooms were always available for use, they have a few on each floor. We were on a higher floor, so street noise for us was not an issue. We took the tour of the ballroom and hotel, so much...

Really enjoyed staying here. Would recommend a king room with own bathroom as saves walking down the corridor. Each room is decorated individually and the location is perfect for Downtown Portland. Yes it's a little noisy but the ear plugs provided do block out the noise so wasn't an issue. It's downtown so to be expected! Food at Zeus was...

We loved this place, you really can't beat this Location if you are looking to be right in the middle of everything downtown. You can park the car in the secure underground parking garage for the entire weekend and just stroll around town, how great is that! Most rooms share bathrooms about 15 rooms per floor share 4 bathrooms but...

This 51 room hotel is located in a century old flatiron building in a very central location - on edge of happening Pearl District. Each room has a theme - named after a song or artist that performed in the neighbouring Crystal Ball room - James Brown, Hendrix etc. Additionally the hotel has a 'soaking pool' in basement. Very quirky...

Thank you chepaddy!! There isn't much to say behind your review, but thank you... We are downtown, and all of those sounds play a role in this area. It's unfortunate, but it's true. We appreciate you giving us a chance, and thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. Visit us again when you're in the area.

We loved our stay here. Powell's Book...only a block away. A bunch of breweries...only a few blocks away. VooDoo Doughnuts, Old Town/China Town and Chinese Gardens.....a walkable mile away. We felt like we picked the perfect spot. Hotel staff very friendly. The bathrooms were never occupied when we needed them. Yes, it was a bummer having to put on a...

Located just across the street from the legendary Crystal Ballroom, the Crystal Hotel has 51 comfortable guestrooms, each inspired by a song or performance from the Crystal Ballroom's past 100 years.
