The hotel is located in the heart of Portland within easy walking or transit distance from anywhere in the downtown area. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. We will definitely stay again.
I was in Portland for a business trip, and the Paramount is very close to our office and located in the heart of downtown. To me, the comfort of the bed is one of the most important things a hotel needs to get right, and the bed was SUPER comfy. I slept really well, which is not always an easy thing to do when you're away from home. The whiskey bar that's connected via the hotel lobby was excellent, too. I would definitely recommend!
I see homeless in lobby, muy bonita chica at desk say he regular? There is regular? Why no report if always regular? No safe if homeless come always. Bed is soft pero maybe I go hotel not downtown next time I visit.
Super cute little boutique hotel. Stayed here with my partner while in town to see the Portland Thorns game and it was perfect. There were tons of places to grab food, a huge park right next to the hotel, and the best part was that we could walk to the stadium! Definitely going to stay here when I come back for another game in a couple of months and stay longer.
This hotel discriminates. They are not an all inclusive hotel!!!! Upon checking in, we were questioned about our marriageable status. That was very off putting to say the least. It gets worst. We were assigned the worst room available. We know this because of the location of our room. Not only was it next to the elevators, the linen closet and staircase, IT WAS THE ROOM FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED! The room is right above the delivery bay. We were woken up at 6:AM to the barrage of truck deliveries. Either the reception clerk is very inept when it comes to understanding quiet getaway or they discriminate and passively aggressively make your stay VERY off putting and unpleasant. BTW we are very happily married and will be finding a more inclusive hotel for our future weekend city getaways.…
Great hotel, friendly staff, great location. Was just a little sad that it was the same time the Swine was being remodeled. But we got to try the drinks one day and it was really good! Love the staff. Highly recommended !
Even though I live in the outlying areas of Portland, when I have an theater event in downtown Portland, I like to stay at this hotel. It is well located for ease of getting around to many areas, exceptionally clean, pleasant & friendly staff. Parking is nearby & reasonable. Great for a solo traveler. Beds are very comfortable.
Loved the place and the location. Close to max lines, restaurants, coffees and breakfast places. Swine bar is cozy and has great staff and excellent food and drinks. Comfortable and quiet room for great night sleep!
Stayed for a quick overnight trip to Portland. Room size was nice. Room was clean and well appointed. Front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Valet was accommodating. Relaxed at Seine for a glass of wine and snacks. Close, easy walkable to everything we needed in downtown Portland.
The Paramount has the BEST location in downtown Portland. I also love the coziness of the rooms and the fabulous shower/bathtub combo. Wish the downstairs breakfast place was open--think it will be soon? That was always so convenient and they had great food. Parking is a bit pricey either valet or at the parking structure next door, but it's a big city.
