Overall, the hotel was great. The suite area was nice and it was great to have a refrigerator in the room. Everything was clean and had no complaints. The location was great as it is walking distance from lots of restaurants and 2 blocks from a shopping district. You can hear your neighbors a little bit. One morning I could hear the alarm going off in the room next to mine, but the noise didn't bother me.

Hotel's Favourite
The suite with full kitchen and private deck is the best my husband and I have ever experienced. Very comfortable, quiet, close to public transportation and within walking distance of great restaurants. Breakfast was tasty, fast, self service. This is our go to place whenever we are in Portland.

Thanks for your review! The patio rooms are definitely a lot of fun when the weather permits for a glass of wine and some peoplewatching in the evening. Our staff always loves the summer season because we get to host so many more families and groups using those patios and the full kitchens for get togethers. We loved the northwest-side location of this 70's hotel, rennovated with a kitschy and colorful "Jetson's" vibe. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We were able to walk from there to Washington Park and several fabulous area shops and restaurants, and could take the streetcar if we wanted to go downtown. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I love boutique hotels. This one is exceptional! Location; perfect! Decor; beyond perfect! Amenities; perfect! Cleanliness; perfect! Staff; super friendly! Trolley stop right out front for easy access to downtown Portland. Although, I have to say that we liked the neighborhood where this hotel is located better than hanging out downtown. Many great restaurants and pleasant to stroll around. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

It's really a hidden gem - a lot of folks visiting for the first time may have heard about some of the major attractions downtown but end up surprised with how much there is to see and do in the NW neighborhood and just how different it feels. This location is among my top places to stay. I was sad to depart. It has a vibrant and artistic decor. Our suite was spacious with generous amenities. The continental breakfast was delightful, including treats from Tillamook Creamy. Portland Streetcar is right outside, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, grocery stories (including Trader Joe's) are a short walk away. We had no issues with parking. We felt our car was secure but ensured no valuables were inside as the lot is accessible. I don't think you can find a better place in Portland.

Relaxing and convenient. The decor is cheerful and modern, different from any other hotel I've stayed in. The beds are very comfortable (including the fold-our couch) and the staff outstanding. Free streetcar tickets and on-site parking meant we could leave the car parked the whole time we were there. Walk one block to the streetcar stop, then stroll around the Pearl District without dealing with traffic and parking.Between the streetcar and light rail, you can get to a lot of places without driving including OMSI and the zoo. And 21st Street has many good restaurants a short walk away -- ask the front desk staff for recommendations, they appear to know everything. Our family has stopped even looking at other hotels since we discovered this place. We're already planning our next visit.…

This is a great place to stay in Portland. The suites are large and comfortable, the staff is helpful and friendly, and you get free continental breakfast and free parking. The Inn at Northrup Station was a great place to stay for so many reasons. The neighborhood was quiet and close to lots of things. The "extras" - breakfast, free parking, trolley tickets - were really nice. The room was large, bed was comfortable and we had a balcony if we ever wanted to open the door for fresh air. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Only good things to say about the Inn at Northrup Station - I plan to stay there again.
