I would recommend this place to a solo, business or a couple who is not extremely particular. It is the cheapest in the area for what you are getting. Try to get room 504 which is a King room wth a good view of downtown Portland.

I chose this hotel based on location and it did not disappoint. It is a short, easy walk to the MODA center. The hotel itself could use a make-over but it was clean and just right for the late night arrival and sleep after a concert at the MODA center.

This hotel is certainly a bit dated. The location is pretty good. The noise factor that is commonly written about on TA was a huge problem. We ended up leaving the hotel because of it. That said David at the front desk was great. He was very understanding and helpful. If the price is right then this place is ok...

I came with a group of friends for a convention, and loved being able to walk across the street to the hotel! David was so very friendly, helpful, courteous and professional! He allowed us to park multiple cars in the parking garage, and when I accidentally left my shoes in the room, he gladly shipped them to me and wouldn't...

Would not stay on noisy side again!! Rooms are great, staff is great, Dave rocks!! Love the coffee in the lobby. Location is wonderful, right near transportation and the Convention Center. However, the noise from the trollies goes well after midnight and starts at 5 am, don't get much sleep!

Reasonable prices and clean enough but a strong hotel smell. Also single pane windows facing a street with trams which made nights a bit noisy. You may want to ask for a room not facing the street. No breakfast facilities but there are ok places nearby.

Clayton was exceptional. I was there for a reunion and he was very helpful to all of us. Anything he could do to help us he did. He is quite the asset to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel is inn great location. The location is easily it's best feature especially for the price point- hence great value. The rooms are fine, standard hotel fare. The bathroom is good enough. You can see the city from the window which is great. My biggest gripe was the front desk girl when we came in (3-11 shift on a...

MissJoious, thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay with us. I am glad you liked our location, price, and quality of guest rooms. I sincerely apologize for the lack of service and attention you and the other guests received at check-in. The evening staff usually does a very good job with assisting guests and especially making...

This is a nice, clean, 2-star hotel with fabulous staff. Many people rate it as if they were staying at (and paying for) a 3 or 4 star hotel. For a 2-star hotel, the Inn at the Convention Center was terrific. The staff there were friendly, helpful, with a big smile EVERY single time we passed though the lobby during...

I can't imagine getting the Portland experience without the help of Clayton at the front desk. He offers helpful friendly advice about some of the best local spots to everyone. We ran into some car problems and Clayton went over and above to help us out. When we realized we needed to stay another night for car repairs, he even...

Carol N, thank you for the very nice compliments regarding Clayton at the front desk. He loves assisting guests even if it has to do unfortunately with car problems. I am glad things work out well for you. We hope to see you back soon for your next trip, this time with no car problems!
