We stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn before a flight home to Honolulu. Our night was complimentary because we are members of the Marriott program. We had requested a quiet room on a higher floor. Of course, there are only 3 floors so how...More

My husband recently wrote a poor review for this facility because we had such a sleepless, restless night in Room 112. And the front desk clerk and front office manager did not compensate us to our satisfaction.
Thanks to Mr Khokhlov, the Area General Manager,...More

Avoid Room 112 at all cost if you want a good night's rest. Management apathetic to our plight! Ironically, their marketing slogan is "Rest Assured".
Our stay was for one Saturday night and we were assigned to Room 112. We checked in late (approx 11...More

The yellow line (expo center) using max rail takes you into downtown Portland where you can transfer to other lines if needed. Convenient, inexpensive way to get around in a city with lots of traffic, especially during rush hour. I found getting to the actual Expo transit stop from the hotel to be a bit confusing (paved walking path, then cross a major freeway pass with a cross walk) but once you figure it out, it is fine. Better directions from the front desk would help. Check the Portland max rail line maps on line. You will see how the lines intersect and can check rates. Some kiosks take paper money/coins, others only take charge cards.
