This is an interesting hotel well located in terms of walking into Portland to explore. The rooms are very well appointed and maintained but somewhat on the small side. There were lots of young people frequenting the hotel when we stayed so our impression is that it is a fun place for the younger set. That said the hotel has...

Trendy rooms in a great location, easy walk or bus ride to many sites worth seeing. The staff was incredibly helpful, cheerful and always present but not imposing. They gave great advice for local eats and shopping. The Doug Fir Lounge was AWESOME to have close. Great breakfasts and drinks! Our room was on the ground floor (no elevator) and...

This place has a great location and a good vibe. Its more of a motel than a hotel as its only two stories and there aren't hallways, everything is open so don't expect that. The lobby is indoors and they have a giant tent over the main atrium of the place so there are places to hang out and stay...

I normally stay at the Ace in Portland and decided to try the Jupiter for something new. I was really apprehensive and nearly cancelled, however I'm really glad I didn't. The front desk staff were really nice, chatted to me and were so happy to help. I had a room on the second floor on the 'Chill' side, the room...

This was our first time staying here. Our long bed, one ton company vehicle was a bit big but they provided parking across the street. Didn't feel totally safe to park there but nothing bad happened in our two night stay. Our room was bar/patio side and it was super small but it was comfortable. Music and happy hour at...

Bed 4/5 Mattress firm/soft-in the firm side. Room 4/5 room is clean. Limited number of outlets and lights. It would have been nice to have an outlet by the bed. Room has a flat screen TV. There is a desk area. The room does not have a refrigerator or microwave. Shower warmed up quick and has good pressure. Wall air...

My husband and I stayed at the Jupiter over the weekend. It was a really cool atmosphere and we loved our room especially the chalk board door. We wanted to stay here because it was within walking distance to things like breweries, restaurants and shopping. The only complaint we have is what other reviewers have said; the walls are basically...

This is a glorified motel, let's be real here. If it wasn't for the staff, I'd give this 2 stars. The staff here is amazing and are so great at recommending places to go. Seriously. They make it sound like there are bars and fun stuff in the hotel, but there wasn't. There wer 0 amenities here. Like... Something would...

Hi, Thank your taking the time to share your experience with us. You are right, we are a renovated 1960s motor lodge which definitely makes us a unique property and we understand that we are not suited to everyone's needs. We do our best to provide our guests with amenities suited to the modern traveler looking for urban adventure. As...

I chose this lodging based on location (near lots of restaurants) and by some of the photos. I really didn't know much about Portland and had originally thought about staying more downtown. Boy, was I happy with my choice. When we pulled in to the parking area, I was worried about how full it was, but we never had a...

....customer service was excellent so they get 3 stars. Online, this place looks nice. In person, this place is meant for 19-23 yr Olds on tinder dates hooking up! Condoms are offered on the night stand and thong taking is encouraged. I most definitely will not stay again as this atmosphere was not for us. Pros: 1. The encourage safe...
