The staff was the BEST! They accommodated our crazy requests before, during, and after our stay. We spent 6 nights at this beautiful and comfortable hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated with artwork from local artists and stocked with luxurious towels and linens. My husband raved about the comfortable bed and wonderful shower. We didn’t hear anything from neighboring rooms! Took advantage of the discounts at the Mercantile! Great location in downtown Portland. Easy walk to places of interest. Everything within blocks of hotel. We’ll book again when we return to Portland!

Wife and I stayed here the first night. Room was spacious, air conditioned and the bed was amazing, never slept on anything so damn comfy before. We opted to have a bottle of wine ready and waiting for our arrival and it was in the fridge chilled and ready for our enjoyment. Great rates per night to be downtown Portland. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good experience and night's sleep!

I've visited Portland three times and have only stayed at the Dossier. I find no need to look any further. The location is fantastic (Just over a 30 minute Max rail ride from the airport to Pioneer Square and a short walk around the corner to the front door of the Dossier.) and the room rates are very competitive. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. Currently (09/2023), guests receive a $15 credit per room for use at the Bistro Alder for breakfast or dinner. I used my credit for breakfast each day and was very happy with the food quality and staff service. And finally I can't say enough about the staff at the Dossier. They went above and beyond helping me with a few issues during my stay in Portland and general manager Scott Youngblood reached out to me personally during my visit to make sure I was enjoying my stay at the Dossier.

I came to visit Portland from NYC to drop my daughter off to college. I had a very nice stay here in this hotel. The rooms are very clean & quiet. Very comfortable beds and a large deep bathtub separate from the shower. While I was here they offered a $15 voucher on food for each day. The food is very good too. I loved the overnight oats and breakfast w eggs and hash. I didn’t get to try dinner here bc I was usually out by then. Service is very good in general all around. Also they provided umbrellas when rainy out. It is also centrally located easy walk to Pearl District and Nob Hill or over the bridge to Hawthorne with a conveniently public transportation/route out front as well. Lots of nice luxury shops around here too. I would definitely stay here again. Great value, great location, and a great hotel/staff overall.

Great hotel to explore Portland from, walkable from major spots and great food options. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly, rooms are extremely comfortable, clean, and chique. Front desk is super friendly and quick to answer inquiries, valet service crew was super responsive and personable, treated our rolling dumpster rental like a rolls. Great coffee in the lobby and the hotel restaurant is a solid spot for a snack or quick breakfast.

The front desk guy gave me some of the best customer service I have ever received. He was kind, accommodating, and was a true steward of this hotels brand. Actually, all the staff were amazing. Also, there were no surprises when it came to charges which I really appreciated. I will make this my new home when I visit Portland. Thank you for making me feel welcome!

I was in town for a wedding and the Dossier was chosen as 1/2 preferred hotels for wedding guests. I am so glad we stayed there, all staff were warm and friendly and accommodations were comfortable. The hotel is centralized in downtown portland so it’s walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and more. It’s just a 20-min walk to the base of Washington park which houses a beautiful rose garden and Japanese garden which were phenomenal to see! It’s also close to the bridges so it’s a quick ride share trip to other parts of the city. The hotel restaurant was also a great option for a convenient breakfast. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again any time we’re in Portland.
