Cabins were really cute. They were nice and upgraded us to a bigger cabin when the one we rented had problems with the hot water heater. The cabin they put us in was Cabin 7. The interior was beautiful. Full kitchen, large bathroom. I loved the bedding and furniture. Within walking distance of a cafe across the road. Their food...

We're so glad you loved cabin 7. It's one of our favorites as well. We hope you were able to enjoy some pie at Beckie's Cafe. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to write a wonderful review. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come through Union Creek! - Kent and...

We booked in here on a quick inland jaunt to see Crater Lake whilst "doing" the US West Coast highway. This time of year, the weather had declined up near the lake and we were only guessing we'd make it. As much the cabin accommodation was great - comfortable and toasty, the lady in the lobby (fair hair, looks 50...

We're so happy to see you had a wonderful time while staying with us. Lori is a wealth of knowledge and full of great advice. Crater Lake is so beautiful this time of year with all of the snow. We're glad you were to experience it. When you're ready to see it in the summer, we'll have a cabin waiting...

I made a reservation in March 2016 and then cancelled it in May 2016. I made the mistake of not getting the cancellation in writing. They charged me for 2 days that I did not use. They then contacted me in August and said they were expecting me so I called again and they said they would cancel it. They...

I have stayed at Union Creek Resort in the Lodge 3 times. It is close to Crater Lake so it makes it a good place to stay. Rooms are comfortable but could use a little more cleaning. Love to go across the road and eat at Becki's. Always fun. If you stay here remember at the Lodge you share the...

If you're seeking luxury in the wilderness, something's gone wrong with your wiring....Union Creek is rustic in the old school way. It ain't the Ritz and it ain't a tent, so enjoy what it is. It's location, location, location.

We strolled in Friday afternoon and went into the office/gift shop/store. We were greeted and taken care of promptly. The gift shop was cute, everything was reasonably priced. The store had your basic supplies and some frozen foods. Beer, wine, pop, coffee, fountain pop, chips, & other snacks are what I recall seeing. We stayed in cabin 15, it was...

The ONLY reason to stay here is the location, and even if you love the outdoors (as I do) I'd avoid it if possible. What they call "rustic charm" is basically just an excuse for the cabins being in a poor state. They're not maintaining the historic site, they're just leaving it to fall apart, at least that's how our...

We stayed in cabin 6. A very nice cabin with a bed that was so comfortable, and furnishings that really fit the environment. Were it not for a few problems we had during our 2 night stay, the review would have had a much higher rating. The first issues we had were on night one. Upon removing the decorative pillows...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. Cabin 6 is one of our most popular cabins. We apologize for the dust bunny problems and the broken lamp. Those are situations in our control that we can and will correct. Unfortunately, the water pressure is out of our control. It is usually strong, but from time to time the pressure...

Very quaint, rustic setting. My 19-year old daughter and I stayed 1 night in the Lodge. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were shared (1 male; 1 female) by approximately 10 rooms, which wasn't a problem, but I don't know if all rooms were booked. Breakfast across the street from the lodge was very good.

Kim, Thank you for staying with us. The Lodge is a unique experience, especially if you haven't been in a European-style bathroom sharing situation. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It’s a resort that hearkens back to a simpler era. We call it rustic comfort; similar to what you would find in the 1920s when it was first built, but now with modern conveniences and charm. You won’t find golf courses, spa services, or salons. But you will find a well-appointed, authentic lodge set amongst towering Douglas Firs in the Rogue River National Forest. It’s an ideal location to experience Oregon’s great outdoors in a simple, yet comfortably updated resort. All around is the smell of pine needles and the sounds of birds and rushing creek waters. The stunning natural setting includes distinctive Union Creek and the Wild & Scenic Rogue River, hiking trails amongst spectacular 700-year-old Douglas Firs in old growth forests, and nearby Crater Lake National Park – truly a must-see destination. ... more   less
