We had a great time. Lots to do and see at this property. We got there about 6 pm, check in was fast and easy. We stayed in the administrators cottage, it is a 3 story house in between the hotel and the spa . It was very cozy, we were on the second floor with a shared bathroom. We...

The staff is so fun. Every stay feels special. Unplug and walk in the garden. Go to the movies. Eat pizza at night, fine dining breakfast in the morning. Ruby spa is always a highlight for me. Art work, wine, beer and spirits. Edgefield is not for all seniors, but I have never met a senior at edgefield that wasn't...

We played 3 par golf and then had lunch. We split the huge 'Wilber Delux' burger. Also good and satisfying as it should be for $15.25. Our friend had the 'Blue Bayou' salad. The usual blue cheese deal at $11.00. The beers were good. Not the best Portland has to offer, but crisp and properly hoppy. It was crowded at...

Love, love I do not use that term very often when describing resorts but Edgefield qualifies. Such a fun weekend destination or a day trip too. Everything is well done! Food is exceptional, along with brews and winery. You will just have to visit to understand Edgefield! Only one comment. The bed was lumpy dumpy! Time to upgrade.

My husband and purchased the McMenamin's Passport and we stopped here on our journey to collect stamps. The staff were friendly and each of them took the time to explain a bit of history in each bar. This property has about 10 different bars/pubs to hang out in and each has their own unique story. We had only intended a...

Through a strange course of events we stumbled upon this place. A random recommendation for lunch turned into two really, really fun meals. We had a lunch a the pub and liked it so much we came back three days later for dinner. It takes a bit of wandering and searching to find the right place but that's how it's...

This was recommended for a one night's stay between places. I called too late to get a room with its own bath. We found a wonderful b & b & decided to stop here for lunch on the way. The sign in the parking lot was a little disconcerting about locking your valuables. See this sign in a lot of...

Went to their Winery in the basement to listen to Live Music. The Side Project was as incredible Husband & Wife duo in their 30's. Awesome. The Atmosphere here is intimated and very charming. Get here early if you want to get a seat. They don't serve food in the Winery, but they have a short Menu that you can...

Finally the stars aligned and we were able to spend one night at this place and one night is not enough to soak up the vibe you get immediately as you start to stroll the grounds. So many little shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, reading nooks, gardens, fire pits and pathways to enjoy, even a pitch and putt course to pull...
