Having operated a B&B in Hawaii for 33 years and working part time at another famous Oregon B&B, we can say without reservation that Old Wheeler is very special. From the gracious and informational greeting from Kate, to the ultra clean rooms, to the location and ambiance, this hotel stay was ideal for the 4 of us. The decorations are...

For our second time here, we stayed in room four, the honeymoon suite. It was the most restful time we've had in ages. Large jetted tub, comfortable king bed, electric fireplace, large walk in shower and did I mention the VIEW? I could watch the bay while soaking in the tub. Bathrobes, nice towels and linens. Furnished with antiques, roomy...

We stayed here for two nights for my girlfriend's birthday. It is an old hotel that has been remodeled and apparently, in the "old days" was a hospital of some sort and some say the place is haunted. We have not seen any ghosts, but have totally enjoyed our stay here. Our room has a Jacuzzi tub. I think it...

This place is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. It not only is charming, but it is so cozy. The owner, Katie, goes above and beyond on what you would expect during your stay. The energy in this building is calm and relaxing. The view is unbeatable, and it simply is just a slice of heaven there on...

This is the hotel I go to when I am in Wheeler, Ore. The view from the "Breakfast Room" is stunning! (Love watching those Salmon jump.) The thing I really like, is, how clean it is. Not one hair, not one grain of sand. The place was spotless!! Oh, did I mention? No kids. No pets. I myself like that....

I also submitted a review in 2014 and thought it was time to update. Since I have returned several times to this location, I truly feel like it is a home away from home. I have stayed in every room except room 3. If you're looking for an awesome Bay view grab room 1,2,3,4 or 5, you will not be...

There is just a certain charm about this place, but I'm not sure i can adequately describe it. It's really a boutique hotel, with the character of a B&B, but more rooms. All 9 rooms are individually and lovingly decorated by the owner, who almost everyone who stays there becomes fast friends with. It quickly becomes obvious that this hotel...

i had no idea this place existed and happened upon it with my son a couple of years. From the moment you walk into the lobby on the first floor, you are transported to another time and feel the warmth and charm of the hostess, Katie exuding in every little detail of this place!
