Our room was incredible and much larger than I expected it to be. The kitchenette was a huge help for us. We came in January so several of the restaurants in town were closed (maybe it was an offseason type thing?) but there were still several good options there! It was also close enough to Newport to do a few...

My husband and I prepaid for 2 nights (30 days prior) during the off-season. First night was advertised at $49 and second night for $60 or $65. Total bill was over $200. We arrived in town late morning & requested early check-in as they had no other customers. We were refused. When we tried the key code at check-in time,...

Love, love, love it! Needed time away from Portland. We appreciate the small town, local eateries, wild beach waves a few steps away from the door, and the cozy rooms with antique furniture. Will always return here!

I recently stayed at Ocean Cove Inn for the weekend during the Oregon Coast 50k ultramarathon. Checkin was super easy, really appreciated the lock box and not needing to coordinate with a host. The room was clean, quaint, and absolutely adorable. Walking distance to everything in town and the beach. Lovely view out our front deck. Bed was super comfortable,...

My husband and me were married in December and wanted to have a honeymoon to remember. Ocean Cove helped to start it off right from the quaintness of the room and convenience to restaurants and shops to the ability to charge our Chevy Volt to help off set the cost of gas on our trip. If I had known it...

This is great place, tastefully furnished, comfortable, welcoming. It is right downtown, you can walk to all the restaurants, the state park, beach, stores. We stayed three nights, wish we could have stayed a few days more. The only reason I can’t give this a "5" is the room entrance door. It is sliding glass, and there is no way...

It was great!! The location, the town, everything about it. It really is a little Gem. Loved it. The room, was perfect, just enough. We will be back for sure!! There were amazing tide pools, easy enough for older and adventurous kids to climb. Starfish, hermit crabs, crabs. At the right time, low tide. It was amazing!! Access to sandy...

We just can't get enough of this place. We stopped by to see if they had a room available for one night and they did. Troy was so sweet to us. We had been camping and he let us do some washing to get the smoke out of our cloths. We had such a restful night we hated to leave....

Pros: Clean, more nicely decorated than your average coastal motel, cheaper than the beachfront motels in Yachats by about $100/night. Driftwood room has a king-sized bed and front and back doors (so you can get some thru-breeze), and a ceiling fan for those warmer days. 101 is a scenic byway, un-lit, and curvy so the traffic noise does die down...

We were very happy with our stay at the Ocean Cove Inn. Our room was clean, comfortable, very spacious and super cute. Loved the beachy, shabby-chic vibe. Even though we faced the highway (and I initially worried that it would be noisy) it was very quiet. Everything was within an easy walk. Would highly recommend this spot.
