Traveling the turnpike I needed a half way point between Columbus OH and Jersey. The Chancellor house is a gem! A beautiful home, lovingly restored and the hosts were delightful!! Bedford has a great downtown with shops, restaurants, theater and art galleries! All were within walking distance of the Chancellor House. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation with the hosts...

We enjoyed our stay at the Chancellor's House. Owners Steve & Lynn shared the history of the town and the Chancellor's House which was very interesting. It's easy walking distance into town. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good too!

Room was beautiful but owner bristled when my friend stepped in her kitchen. At first it was difficult to tell where the guest residence began and where owners' ended. Also it was uncomfortable to be told where to sit during breakfasts. It would have been nice to choose any or all of the meal offerings since I am a light...

Spent another wonderful weekend at the Chancellor's House B&B in Bedford, PA. Steve and Lynn George, the owners, are always most welcoming and make you feel like family. The B&B is spotless, filled with interesting artwork, beautiful furniture, and absolutely wonderful breakfasts! This is coupled with all of the wonderful things that Bedford has to offer - museums, great shopping,...

From the front path to the back gate, owners Steve and Lynn lovingly care for this beautiful home on the prettiest street in this delightful village. I came upon it by accident - I was recommended to stay somewhere else in town, but was turned away from there in what I can only describe as a Fawlty Towers moment -...

Destination Bedford, Allow your chauffeur to guide you to the stunning Victorian Brick Mansion on Julianna Street. There are at least three guest rooms well appointed with en suites. The linens are supple and the beds so enveloping one desires to sleep in. Alas, the owners have breakfast ready at 8:30 AM, full complement of fruit, protein, gourmet eggs, bacon,...

This was our second stay at the Chancellor House in the past two years, both during the fall festival in Bedford. Our stay in this unique historical home allows to reminisce back to a time when home life and the feelings of home as child bring back long forgotten memories. The wrap around wood front sitting porch, the Cherrywood library,...

This is a wonderful house to enjoy Bedford and relax for a few days. Steve and Lynn are wonderful hosts. Lynn provided excellent culinary delights for breakfast and Steve was a wealth of local history. The house is beautiful as well as the gardens and landscaping.

My girlfriends and I were looking for a place between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia to meet and spend 2 days of low key reminiscing while having a good meal or two. Bedford seemed to be a quaint opportunity and this B&B/Inn looks fit the bill wonderfully. We were able to park our car and walk to most destinations (i.e. Restaurants and...

We stayed for 2 nights and had the most amazing & relaxing time! Steve and Lynn were so kind and generous and we loved our conversations with them! They made sure we had everything we needed and knew what the best places to eat and visit in the surrounding areas were! Lynn made us the most delicious blueberry baked french...
