Not your typical Wyndham... but just what I was looking for. Wanted a charming option that was convenient to my daughter's college (Haverford). This filled the bill. The hotel is staffed by Bryn Mawr students and features only a handful of rooms in what appears to be essentially a lovely old house. Does it need a little refreshing? Yes. Do...

I have stayed at Wyndham Alumnae House about 5 times. It is an old house, not a hotel, and is appointed like a quaint B&B. So the rooms are quirky and may not be as spacious or modern as a chain hotel, but the overall effect is cozy and lovely. The location, in the middle of beautiful Bryn Mawr College...

This place looks beautiful from the outside and the pictures on the web looked great, too, but the truth is that this place is beyond run-down and is a terrible place to stay if you've got mobility issues. Room #2 was incredibly awful with furniture Goodwill would have rejected (including a chair that looked as if a cat had clawed...

We decided at the last minute to head out here Sunday night and skip the morning drive from our Philadelphia hotel. Great choice, if for nothing else, to experience the place, stay on campus and talk to some college kids about their experience at school. Quite small room, very squeaky floors, but quaint and different. Lovely coffee and tea available...

Stayed here while my daughter had an overnight visit at Bryn Mawr for prospective students. The Wyndham is a historic home with plenty of charm but "old house acoustics" (you can hear everything in the hall, downstairs and next door neighbor's TV). My biggest complaint is that the bathroom is very old and not clean. Mildewy shower curtain and moldy...

This guest house offers lovely, well appointed rooms perfect for a visit to Bryn Mawr College. The property is similar to an historic B & B with a beautiful array of antique furnishings and decor. The house was very clean, quiet, and safe, and there was clearly attention to detail at every turn. The staff were very helpful and well-informed....

Someone recommended this to us for its proximity to the campus- yes it's right on the campus. So I will recommend for the same reason. Very simple lodging- my daughter and I shared a queen sized bed as it was all that was available. Rate was around $125 plus tax which was also a plus and included a basic continental...

The room was really big -- probably 35 feet long including the bathroom. Out from the wall came two twin beds, which were comfortable. The "desk" was not something you could actually sit at (unless you have removable knees). The lamps were so old that they were old when I was young, but not old and nice, just really really...

The Wyndham Alumnae House inn seems to be staffed in part by Bryn Mawr students, which perhaps explains some of the unbusinesslike gaps in service--for example, I was never asked to pay for my room, either at checkin, when we were greeted politely by a friendly young lady who offered to carry our bags for us (beware, no elevator), or...

The staf was very unfriendly. Our check in time was for 2pm we arrived at 1:30 and were told we could not check in. Not even a suggestion on what we could do until then... I knew right then it was not going to be a good experience. The bathrooms have MOLD and they do not have a fan in...
