Other trip advisor reviews were accurate on this Inn. The woman manager was very nice and friendly. The feel is low key. It is nice that the breakfast is at tables of two to four so you don't have to "socialize" with other guests if you choose not to. The dog kept coming up to our table and putting hose...

We stayed on at the Fairville Inn in January for our Anniversary for 4 nights. We were able to take advantage of a groupon special. The room we had was beautiful very clean and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was different options and made to order. Afternoon tea was wonderful, such a nice touch. The owners or Innkeeper were at each...

Even though the weather forecasted was not the best, my girlfriend and I still decided to go to the Fairville Inn B&B for two nights, February 20th and the 21st. We arrived and were greeted by a friendly young woman who gave us our key to room 4. The room was bare accept for the essentials, nothing memorable at all....

When we first became innkeepers almost 8 years ago, we would have been horrified by this review and asked ourselves, “What did we do wrong?” We have learned over the years that we cannot be everything to everyone, and that we cannot meet the expectations of some of our guests. We and our staff work hard every day to provide...

High expectations are dangerous. One visits some place delightfully and the bar is set high. Dare you return and risk disappointment? That is NEVER an issue with the magical elixir of the Fairville B&B. Convenient to all the attractions in the Brandywine Valley. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, clean and of so conducive to sleeping and relaxing. Although it...

The home is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Ie. If you require a Gluten Free diet just give them a call prior to your visit. Everything is made fresh daily. The have afternoon tea, which unfortunately we missed out on due to another outing. The area has many little shops, including an upscale resale shop that carries furs...

We just returned from our stay at Fairville Inn. What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned out to be fussy, annoying and overall extremely disappointing. My husband booked a suite at Fairville Inn for Valentine's weekend. We were told that they were completely booked for Valentine's day (Saturday) so we ended up booking two nights, Thursday and Friday....

Almost all of our guests are wonderful people looking for a wonderful experience, and we have many repeat guests (many are like family). We are proud of the ratings our guests have given us on Trip Advisor. Of the 182 Trip Advisor reviews as we write this, only 3 are negative (including this one). We have earned our ratings, and...

Our stay at the Fairville Inn B&B was perfect. This charming, 1820s wood-framed house set the mood for visiting historic Brandywine Valley. It is conveniently located within a short drive of Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum (with all those Wyeth paintings!) and the Winterthur Estate. Fine restaurants are also within easy driving distance; the Inn keeps copies of restaurant...

My wife and I, along with our friends, spent a wonderful 1-night stay in mid-January. Our friends found the Inn on-line and booked 2 rooms. It was our first stay with Rick & Laura, the Innkeepers but, MOST ASSUREDLY, it won't be the last! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if we had been long time friends!...

We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay in spring 2014. Much to do in Brandywine Valley (Longwood Gardens; Brandywine River Museum, Downton Abbey Exhibit; etc.). Good food. The price was reasonable because we had a 50 percent off Groupon Coupon.

Location was great. Although on a main street my room faced the back and was very quiet. Our friends had a room in the front and had no problem sleeping. Both in the main house. The grounds were beautiful. The Inn has great bones but desperately needs new carpet and paint. The inn keepers couldn't be nicer. To be honest...
