Of all the lodging the group stayed at, Mary's property was the most special. The minute you walk into the home you see how special it is. The home is large, has 7 bedrooms, many bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, family room and numerous other rooms. Seven men of differing age found room to go for solitude or get together to...

Perfect! Mary is the sweetest. The Parker house immaculate, 5 stars. TY. TY TY TY! Reserved our rooms in advance and came here on the return trip also reserved and paid for. So convenient. Mary is so interesting like profession if you have the chance to chat. She disappears quickly.

First rate place to stay. Very modern and comfortable. No breakfast offered but other visitors had left a lot of pancake mix and some cereals in the kitchen. You can make your meals here but not many pots and pans. No pan to make the pancakes. All rooms have private baths except 2 rooms.

Our cycling group of 10 friends/family had a wonderful stay at the Parker House. Owner, Mary, greeted our group when we arrived in the late afternoon. This B&B was a perfect place to gather and socialize. The home was spacious and clean with a large shed to store our bicycles for the night. My only complaint is that calls and...

We biked from West Newton PA to Cumberland MD, using the Parker House in Confluence as our base station for two nights. Nothing fancy but Mary the owner was very nice and helpful, the rooms were air conditioned and adequate and the shared facilities were great - full kitchen, TV room, books, eating space. No breakfast is provided but a...

We were riding our bikes on the trail and little did we know that the train from Cumberland to Frostburg MD was going to drop us off several miles from Frostburg due to some track issues. This put us WAY behind schedule and we did not end up getting to the Parker House until after 8:00 PM. Mary gave us...

I was not sure what to expect. Very nice living quarters with many options for dining in case there are many unrelated groups at the house. There is everything you need, from coffee and cream to clean white linens and crisp blankets. Mary explains all of the little special things about the area and then you are off to your...

This house was beautiful. I booked the whole house for a family bike trip for 17 people. No worry on being cramped, it was huge. Everyone in our group couldn't believe how nice it was. Close to the bike trail. the only thing that would have made it even better was if breakfast was available. but since we rented the...

biking the GAP, we stayed here, encountered a rainy day and enjoyed it to the max, many comfy quiet reading spots in the house, settled in with a glass of wine and a good book, great storage outside for bikes, owner let us in early, there is a huge magnificent dining room with tons of windows, this would make a...

Over past ten years, my brother and I stayed at the surrounding hotels, condos and resorts with relatively poor accommodations. First off, Parker House's interior modern finishes and cleanliness are on par with Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton with a few antiques and books relevant to the region for interest. The renovation was fifteen years ago, but it looks brand...
