Rooms need a major upgrade and cleaning. Chose this motel because of the great package deal for the faire. There were mold on the shower curtain and holes in the curtain for the window. I think there was blood on the curtain. The wood on the porch was rotted.

Room was probably last renovated in 1963! We are antique collectors and even appreciate mid century modern but this place is just run down. Staff is friendly and helpful consequently we did not complain. Room was fairly clean but smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. Maintanace has been deferred for a long time.Good luck getting anything to...

The many bad reviews of this place kinda scared me at first. However, this quaint lodge was not bad at all! The retro look of the place was nice. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and I feel very safe here. While the rooms could use upgrades, they are perfectly furnished with everything you need to have a comfortable stay....

I found the place to be scenic by the pool. We did not have option of putting air conditioning on it is turned on certain times of month by maintance. I also found the manager Kim to be rude in her demeanor of dealing with others.

I stayed here thanks to a random deal on a travel site. This place is rated near 4 stars all over the internet, so I figured it would be old but fine. It was not fine. Things that didn't work: - Air Conditioning (luckily it was only 70 degrees out but the room was super humid) - TV Remote (not...

Most online reviews indicate the motel is in need of an update - what an understatement. Visible deterioration on the outside of the motel - rotting boards visible behind rusted metal in the upper level of the building behind the office. Checked in and received a key for room 120. Damp room smelled horrible, like mold and mildew, stained carpet,...

This is an older motel that hasn't seen a lot of care over the years, the front area near the office appears unsafe for occupancy, as the upper level is badly decayed,(Large rusted holes), the rear area we were in needs to have the stained carpet replaced, the wall mounted hair dryer looked like something from the '50's. The cable...

We have stayed at this hotel several times, we always knew it was older but well kept. The reservation for the group on this trip was made way ahead of time. Imagine our surprise when we checked into our room. What was supposed to be a 2 bed room was actually 1 bed and a pull out sofa. The pillow...

Restaurant was nice. Pricey, but nice. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. (help yourself to cereal, coffee & bagels). Room had peeling wallpaper and was very outdated. (telephone hanging on wall in bathroom). For $120 a night, it wasn't worth it. Should have driven the 2.5 hours home instead.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews for this place. Here is what you should know. This isn't a top of the line hotel, it is small, old and privately owned. The carpets aren't new, the doors are creaky, and the mattresses a bit soft. but, for a cheap hotel, this is actually a decent place to stay. It was...
