Our wedding party booked the entire Hargrave B&B last weekend. There was enough off street parking for all, a real luxury in down town Doylestown. Lorna, the sweet and charming Innkeeper, not only gave personalized driving and tour guidance to all, but also cooked individual breakfasts to order for each guest every morning. Yum! I highly recommend scrambled eggs, French...

4 star due to location; on Main Street abutting Historical Society. Room # 2 was quite large & clean. Towels were thread bare, toiletries were handed out in 1/2 oz. bottles, we were asked to use the coffee machine only with bottled water (3rd night there, no bottled water was supplied) as Doylestown water contained to may minerals for the...

My husband and I were able to get away for just a short one-night weekend stay and we were so glad we picked the Hargrave House. The room was great ... Very spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. In addition there was a very nice television and free wi-fi. The bed was ultra comfortable. The...

While staying in Doylestown for two nights we chose the Old Hargrave House for it's location in town. This was a good choice because we could just walk everywhere. Doylestown is fun to walk around in even if it's just window shopping. This is a historic home with an addition built on. There are several innkeepers who oversee the house....

Hargrave House was in the most perfect center of town location with all the Doylestown pubs, wine bars, theater, restaurants, and several museums within walking distance. We stayed in the third floor Bucks County Suite which was cozy, quiet and super comfortable. The room was super clean and had a jacuzzi and fireplace. There were nice amenities like a Keurig...

I can't say enough great things about The Hargrave House. I had to travel in town for a wedding and absolutely fell in love with the B&B. Our room was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Not only did Lorna (the Innkeeper) help us with our room but gave us directions to local eateries and even offered to...

I stayed at the Hargrave House for one night while in town for work. I usually stay in boutique hotels but Hargrave came highly recommended by my coworker. I stayed in the room on the third floor over the dining area. There are a few stairs heading to the bedroom as you passed the bathroom. In the bedroom, there was...

Historic Doylestown, home to ceramic tile artisan Henry Chapman Mercer, best-selling novelist James Michener and other noteworthies, is a charming and pleasant little slice of early America, full of well-preserved homes, good restaurants, cute shops and even a homegrown, downtown movie theatre. The Hargrave House bed and breakfast lies in the center of town, with seven rooms in a renovated...

Together with my colleagues we travel to Doylestown for Business regularly and we always choose to stay in Hargrave House. We tried number of different hotels in the area in the past with overall disappointment. At Hargrave House rooms and facilities are excellent and a good Internet connection allows us to work from the hotel. Breakfasts are best in the...

My husband and I visited family in Doylestown Borough over the Christmas holiday. Rather than stay with our children we decided to stay at this charming inn. Our room was on the third floor which was a little inconvenient dragging luggage up three flights of stairs. But once we got to our room in was worth the hike! The room...

“Many rooms have real down pillows and beds. For those of us with allergies, there are rooms, just as luxurious, that are hypoallergenic. So if allergies are an issue, be sure to ask.”

“The website mentions Jacuzzi's in every room. This was not true for # 2 on the main / ground floor. We paid the web price asked and did not make a fuss about the mistake in advertising. If Jacuzzi is important - do not select # 2. Additionally, do not select # 2 if you are overly sensitive to street noise.”
