No hot water both mornings was there. Actually no water at all, even cold. Dinner 1st night was good. The dinner the 2nd night should have been thrown out. Would never return. In addition, be aware that your credit may be fraudulently used after you leave. Was charged over $200 a night for just the room. Was being advertised online while was there for $69 a night. Even $69 is a lot to pay for lack of water and a disgusting room. Bottom line - stay away.

Went for LDW and found a little slice of woodsy gay heaven in the Poconos. Rustic yet charming, this place offered me some nostalgia and magic I can't quite put my finger on. I think my obsession with summer camp has something to do with it --- this place screamed gay summer camp. A club (with impressive lighting and sound) in an old barn - YES! The pool was kind of a dream, although a bit cold. I don't understand all the bad 1 star reviews --- my guess is 'city gays' who don't appreciate 'rustic'. That said, the pics def make this place out to be much fresher and more modern. The hot tub was out of service upon our arrival, something that should be made aware to incoming guests IMO. Will def be back!

I should have read the reviews. The rooms are filthy no wifi the room hadn't been cleaned the shower was frightening. Requested an earlier check in 3:00 PM and was refused. There was only one other room rented in the entire resort I know why now. It was the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk was not helpful or followed through with anything. The end table lamps didn't work they said maintenance would replace the lamps never happened. The refrigerator buzzed loudly of and on woke you out of a sound sleep. When I pulled into the King Room area there was trash barrel over flowing with trash on the ground. They emptied the trash Friday and left the trash on the ground disgusting. I couldn't stand looking at the trash and picked all up. I opened the room there were carpenter ants running around. The coffee machine had an inch of coffee in the pot and a coffee packet in the drip. I arrived on Thursday with the intention of staying three nights. I left Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. This resort is the worst hotel it's sad to see how down hill this establishment has gone. The club opened at 9:00 PM on Friday walked over at 10:00 PM totally empty. This is the only club in the area there seem to be no community support which is a statement in it's self. The management of this property should be ashamed of themselves it's to bad.

They still have not fixed their cyber security issues with their systems. There is only two ways this is happening. Someone has hacked their data system account when booking though their website or it’s someone on the inside stealing credit card information. I work in cyber security and have never seen something go unchecked for so long. The first time was a year ago in July 2023 we were just there last weekend and boom 3,000 charge. Does it really take a year to fix your system? Other people are posting this as well. Please do not book online and use a refill debt card with only the amount you need if you do go. You as a company are responsible to secure your data not being breached by hackers. Either get a new IT company or lawsuits. Workers were friendly Food was cold when heated up I feel like I’m looking at a remnant of what was when I talk older gay man they have so many amazing stories and say this place was the spot but now it has died. I feel like the new owners are trying. But I think it might be better under a hotel corporation who has access to lots of funds to do a big makeover and marketing. Not just some paint and stuff. I feel like they are trying but it might be more than what they can handle and that is ok.

Very Disappointed, We thought the new owners would turn this place around!! We arrived earlier than check in and they knew we were there early, so I went back to the front desk at 4:00 check in time to find out our room was still not ready and wasn’t ready for another 40 minutes, they knew we were there, this is all the while we are watching staff hang out and talk, wondering around! Shower had very weak pressure and if others in the building were using the water the shower would trickle out!! Never will we ever go back there again, no one makes up the rooms, I had to do my own garbage and get clean towels. No one was eating at the restaurant! Terrible place!

***DO NOT GO HERE*** My boyfriend and I had a 3-day, 4-night stay planned here. We spent almost $1,000 on the most expensive suite. It was disgusting. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Since then, management has made no attempt to provide a refund after multiple attempts and requests. I have filed an official consumer complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Pennsylvania and I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I suggest those in the same situation do the same to help hold Rainbow Mountain Resort accountable.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. I work as a Supervisor at a luxury boutique hotel, and I know what the basic standards of service and quality should be. This hotel failed to meet any of them. My partner and I booked this hotel for 2 nights, intending to find a relaxing retreat while we were in the area for my grandmothers funeral. Boy we were mistaken. The first and one of the biggest issues happened as soon as we arrived. We booked one of their private cabins, and due to plane delays, arrived quite late at night. Once we arrived and received the keys, I quickly discovered that the cabin door DID NOT LOCK! indeed it didn't even latch- it simply pushed open without even turning the knob. (I wouldn't have stayed there at all, but I was exhausted and didn't want to try to find another hotel at 1:30am) We slept with our suitcase in front of the door for a semblance of security. 2nd MAJOR issue- there was NO hot water for the shower. NONE! We allowed the water to run for a bit, as I know sometimes water can take a bit to heat up, but in the time it took my partner and I both to shower, it was still freezing cold. 3rd issue- the AC was quite loud, and though it was running when we arrived, all the cabin windows had been left open, rendering it almost useless. The linoleum floor was peeling up in the bathroom, the trashcan had not been emptied from previous guests, and I have zero faith that there were clean sheets on the bed. Also the fire extinguisher was several years out of date- yet another safety hazard. In the morning after very poor sleep, we went to check out, as there was no way I was spending another night in that place. The folks at the desk did not care at all what we had to say, and did not do anything to try to make it right. There was a half-hearted apology, and then an offer for a free dinner in their restaurant after being told they don't offer refunds. After seeing the condition of the room, there was absolutely no way that I would ever eat there. Also after the quantity of the issues, a free dinner is simply insulting. Then, shortly after arriving home, my partners bank card was hacked, and after reading other reviews, I see that this is a common and recurring issue after staying at this hotel. In short, this "hotel" is nothing but a scam, and it is run with a complete lack of care for their facilities or their guests. BUYER BEWARE! We would have been better off sleeping in our car.

Very disappointing. We are not crazy picky travelers and stayed here on a motorcycle trip to see the Delaware Gap area. That said, I was shocked by the room quality. Negatives: The website is misleading and the property is no longer up to the standards displayed in the online photos. The property seems to currently be managed by someone with low standards. We stayed in the Cherry House and the building was so humid and musty (making it smell like cat pee). There was no working AC in our room because the outlet did not work. They did, thankfully, eventually send someone with an extension cord so we could plug the unit in. The TV did not work, there were no hand towels or bath mat, and the toilet paper was 1/4 ply. The water pressure was non-existent. No mattress cover or fitted sheets and the flat sheet provided slipped off the stained mattress while we were sleeping. We tried to get a drink at the "bistro" but sat at the bar for 15 minutes and no one came to take our order, despite staff coming behind the bar and seeing us. The menu was pretty sad so we did not eat while there (if we'd even have gotten service). The website says checkout at 1pm, but it's actually 12pm. Pros: the pool looked nice, though we did not get to use it. It closes pretty early. The porch on the main building has tables and chairs and it's where we spent most of our down time because the room was so middling. It's great to have a LGBTQ spot to go, but "resort" is a long stretch. This place could have been so much more with a little TLC and good service.

This place needs new mgmt and a deep clean. Rooms and bathrooms are dirty. The staff need to be trained. They’re nice but don’t know what they’re doing. We had to move rooms twice. First, without air conditioning we couldn’t sleep. Second because the mattress was wet after someone before us had pee’d all over it. And the staff simply covered it with a fresh sheet.
