We stayed two nights at the Smithton Inn, in May 2017. I actually worked from the room both days that we were there, so I spent a lot of time in the room. What a wonderful property, and such a comfortable place to call home. Rebecca is a very gracious host. We had a few minor special requests and she...

Whenever we're in town for an auction and Adamstown antiquing, we always stay at the Historic Smithton. We have stayed in just about every room at this point, and sampled many breakfasts. The Inn has a historic but unpretentious vibe, inviting and friendly. There is ample off street parking. The innkeepers are personable and professional (my experience is innkeepers are...

This was our first B&B and what a great experience it was. Beautiful Historic Inn. This place was so clean you could eat off the floor. The breakfast is to die for. The staff is outstanding and you can tell Rebecca loves what she does, it shows in the love the hosts put into this Inn. I can't wait to...

This pre-Revolutionary War property is a winner in every category: service, hospitality, cleanliness, and quality of breakfast offerings. It is also fairly priced and we'll located in the visually rich Lancaster County region of Pennsylvania.

First of all, I'm not great at writing reviews, so I usually don't. However, it would be a shame to let this gem of a place slip under the radar of would-be travelers to the Ephrata / Lancaster area (i.e., Amish country). It's charming, quaint, and the hosts are beyond wonderful. We are definitely going back! Also, a little nugget...

My sisters and I treated my mom to a weekend of antiquing in Adamstown and stayed at Smithton Inn. I couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. The rooms and house were more charming in person and the character of the house is amazing. The innkeepers are a sweet couple who made us feel right at home; we were even...

My husband surprised me with a weekend at the historic Smithton Inn for our anniversary. We had a wonderful weekend! Rebecca, the owner/ Inn keeper, was very accommodating. We stayed in the "yellow room" which was beautiful and very comfortable. The room was outfitted with a fireplace, refrigerator, television, and a very large bathroom. The breakfasts are to die for,...

We stayed one Saturday night on a cold February day. The place is apparently older than the American constitution but that was the last thing I thought of - old and dusty - when we were greeted welcome by hostess Rebecca. Despite early evening, Rebeccas contagious good energy boosted us for a great night in Ephrata. Historic decor in pristine...

Just returned from our Valentine's stay at the Inn. Our room was impeccably appointed, down to the original random width wood floors. Our room had a canopy bed with a wonderful mattress giving us a great nights sleep. Got up this morning and turned on the heated floor in the bathroom, warming the cold tiles prior to showering in an...

We just left from our stay at the Tailor's Cottage for a girl's weekend (with a dog). Smithton Inn was fabulous! It is well situated and an easy to drive to a lot of the sights in Lancaster county. The cottage itself is charming - beautifully decorated with modern conveniences. The cottage also had a working fireplace which was a...
