We have stayed at The Lighthouse Inn in Erie, Pennsylvania four times...always a pleasant stay...very clean rooms and bathrooms...very comfortable beds and pillows...parking is just outside your door. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. We love the on site restaurant for breakfast Always great, with great service. A wonderful alternative to chain motels/hotels and chain restaurants. Very cost effective...

I used to stay there a lot but will not any more. I was finding cleanliness a problem. Unless they have had a recent major overhaul, the beds were awful. Last time I was there, an actual spring pressed into my back all night. Once I found black hair all through the bed and I'm blonde. I took the pillowcase...

The wife and I loved the place as it was reminiscent of the glory days of the old motor inns. The room was clean and comfortable and up to modern day standards with a nice blend of yesteryear charm. I kept imagining I would walk out the door and see the parking lot full of classic cars. The inn is...

My husband and I stayed over at this motel 2 weeks ago. It was very clean and the bed was REALLY soft..SO nice! It's a little dated but for the price it's perfect for a couple night stay. The wineries are only about 10 minutes away and Presque Isle 15 minutes. Easy check in and check out. When we visit...

This is an older motel, but well-kept and cared for. The price was more than reasonable, considering prices at other hotels, and our dog got to stay for a refundable deposit which is almost unheard of anymore. We had two double beds, a small desk, TV, dresser, one nightstand, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The room and bathroom were average...

Nicely decorated with nautical theme. Waitresses very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Nice neighborhood with creek across one road, a small town park across other and Lake Erie close by. We were here for a Mother's Day breakfast - we wanted to patronize a local place rather than a chain restaurant. We just came for the restaurant and didn't stay...

Stayed here for two nights . Found the place via an internet search, as we were looking for somewhere to stay that wouldn't break the bank. Located in a quiet residential area, only a 10 minute drive from Downtown Erie, 15 minutes or so from Presque Isle, Waldameer, and other fun spots. The place was clean, had a restaurant on-site...

Great prices...clean (but modest) rooms. Friendly staff. Great way to avoid the high prices of motels near I-90. Rooms are clean, modest. Location of motel is in a nice residential area and 5 minute walk to Lake Erie.

This little motel was pretty much what I expected. It was a bit dated and there were some cosmetic issues in the room, but it was clean and the owner Jackie was very nice. The beds were surprisingly comfy. Breakfast was not included but the food at the restaurant was good and inexpensive. (Breakfast and lunch hours only) There was...

Since my brother lives close to this property, we stay here about once a year. It is run down, outdated, the furniture is worn, but it IS close. That stops this year! The price on this motel is as high as the chains out on Route 90, but that's where the similarities stop. I won't put up with the shortcomings...
