My husband and I were in Erie for a conference at the Bayfront Convention Center. For about half the price of a hotel room, we stayed at this delightful bed and breakfast. It was within walking distance of the Convention Center, local restaurants, bars, and the Warner Theatre. The room was clean and comfortable. Betsy, the owner, was friendly and...

Location is not scenic, but convenient. Surroundings are commercial buildings and parking lots (with very early morning garbage pickup). Easy walking distance to many restaurants, the waterfront area, UPMC Hamot, and most of downtown Erie. Free off-street parking. Common areas nice, done in antiques or faux antiques. Personnel welcoming and helpful. Rooms are NOT handicapped accessible. Room 6 was cozy...

Thank you for your very nice review! You are correct in stating that we are not handicapped accessible. All of our rooms are located on the second floor. We do have air conditioning. We, also, provide a fan in room 6. For our guests convenience, there is a single serve pod coffee maker located in our dining room so that...

Found this awesome place by Google Mapping the area. A nice simple continental breakfast was great. We stayed in Room 7 and it was perfect for what we needed. Within walking distance of Hamot Medical Center, restaurants, Gannon University, the Civic Center and sport venues. It has a relaxing atmosphere and Betsy was great. Just ask Betsy about the local...

We stayed in room 1 which was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large and lots of light from the three windows. The house is just beautiful. We were within walking distance or short Uber ride to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was simple but good. We had a great stay in Erie. We would stay here again.

We've reviewed this property before, and we can't say enough about how good it is. It never disappoints whether it is the quality of the stay, the service, or the value. Clean, comfortable, and quiet yet right downtown. We go to Erie just to stay here.

Checking in late was a breeze. Very well maintained and clean all thru out. The room is unexpectedly big with nice leather chairs, flat screen tv (42", I think), big drawer, big closet with lots of hangers. Sheets and pillows are fresh and clean. The bathroom is such a plus: Lots of fresh, fluffy white towels and again, unexpectedly big....

At 10:55am we get a loud knock on our door with a shout "CHECK OUT IS AT 11!" "My god, is it even 11am?" I thought. I rushed to get my things in order and was zipping up my suitcase next to the door when I hear another pounding on the door: "IT'S 11:15!!!!" I open the door wide-eyed and...

Close, convenient, cozy place to stay. My wife and I loved it. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying Erie! The staff are wonderful and it honestly is so quiet that you feel as if the house is all to yourself.

The booking process online was amazingly simple, they emailed directions, room number and security code all to us. When we arrived we parked in the large off-street private parking lot behind the house. The security code we were given opens both the street door to the house and our room. There were no check in procedures - just put your...

Thank you for mentioning all the info that is provided in our confirmation email. We cover everything that a guest would need to know before arrival. And, you are correct about it being warm when the humidity is high. Our house was built in 1872 and has high ceilings that are harder to cool. Thanks for staying with us and...
