Should have read the reviews ....5 of us booked in for 7 nights left after 2. Unbelievable that somewhere like this is allowed to remain open, It was filthy with probably the friendliest and unhelpful staff we ever met. The manager was so uninterested she didn't even ask why we booked out 5 nights early.

We needed a overnight stop and took a "hot rate" price for this hotel. If I had known how pathetic the place was, we would have easily paid more for something even just a tiny bit better. No hot water, extremely outdated rooms, bathroom had not been cleaned from previous tenant and the beds were as cheap as could be...

Stay away nothing nice about the rooms to say. It's a crack house or prostitution home. The Nastiest place I ever been to.. parking ramp it a dark dungeon and creepy. Doors to rooms for employees left open and look like a big party house.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. This was a quick overnight trip I planned for my husband for Father's Day and it was a bust. As soon as you walk in the hotel you're greeted with this horrible, nasty chemical smell that smells like they're trying to cover smoke or something. It was even stronger in...

I wanna clarify my poor rating for this hotel. If you're looking for a modern, clean, convenient family lodge, then this is not your place. If ya wanna round up a couple of old friends and party like ya used to could, this place would be perfect.

On the way to Cleveland from Toronto, we decided to stay in Erie due to an anticipated visit to the state park. Upon arrival, I felt a little uneasy due to the fact there were only 7 other cars in the garage at 9pm. Hotel was very dingy and you are forced to sign your life away regarding extra charges...

What should have been a great experience for a friends wedding turned into an almost traumatic one. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly desk staff. When I entered my room my bed was recently slept in, the remote on the bed and television on. Neither bed had a bed skirt on, showing the filthy mattresses. I called the front...

First off don't waste your money on this old hotel. second off the parking is underneath the hotel which you can't go out at night because it's too scary and dark down there. third of all they told me that the room air-conditioned didn't work for me. Had to open up the windows on the fourth floor of the hotel...

This Hotel Avalon, is in the heart of the downtown area. The price was fair for an older hotel. It has free continental breakfast, which was ok at best. The rooms do need a make over, but were clean. Friendly staff.
