The best place to stay in the area! There are several rooms to accommodate, singles, couples, and children. We booked four rooms for a family reunion, and the lounge sat us all comfortably, the rooms were beautiful, and the Saturday and Sunday breakfast is the best I've ever had. Thanks to Arlene and and Bill for a memorable time.

We live in Girard and have never eaten at Heartland! Shame on us........Heartland has an outstanding lunch menu at wonderful and reasonable prices. I ordered the Chicken and Biscuits (it comes with all white meat) and found it FANTASTIC. They gave a plentiful amount of chicken/gravy. My husband ordered a panini and loved it. We both ordered pumpkin pie for...

Preferring B&Bs to sterile hotels, we were so happy to find this place when visiting family who live in Girard over the Labor Day weekend. Proprietress Arlene was very accommodating when making our reservation and during our stay. Also, the lady (whose name I didn't get, sorry) was very welcoming upon our arrival in showing us around. This place is adorable...

We dropped in for breakfast after Sunday morning church. Our party of five was seated quickly even though every table was full. They have an extensive menu and everything we ordered was good. I enjoyed a tasty malted Belgian waffle with sausage, but my favorite bites of the day may have been the sneaky ones of home-fries from my neighbors...

We stopped here for a quick lunch one Saturday...it was a late lunch so not so many people were there. I had been told that the soups were good there, so I ordered a bowl of vegetable beef soup...and I have to say, I enjoyed it thoroughly! I will have to remember this place when I am in the area...

We have recently had the opportunity to have several family members stay at the Heartland Inn. Girard is close to Erie but it is a bit of a drive if you are attending an event in this area. The Heartland Inn is great if you need to stay in the West County. We had family stay at the Heartland Inn...

Our group of 6 enjoyed a special breakfast at The Heartland Inn and Cafe on Sunday morning. We were not prepared for the size of the cinnamon bun! Our group also liked the sausage biscuit and eggs and the waffles. The sausage gravy was very tasty. The cheerful atmosphere and very efficient service were a delight. We will be returning!

This B&B has a little of everything...lovely period rooms, good farmland views, a boutique with the usual candles and country items, locally produced wines (not so great) and unexpectedly good food. The breakfast omelets are freshly made...no grease in sight and very tasty. The advertised large cinnamon bun is not large...it is GIGANTIC (think platter size). The little girl at...

I have eaten at the Cafe many times and I have never been disappointed with service, cleanliness, value or quality of the meals. I have not stayed in the Inn; but I have toured the rooms that were not being used. They are so beautiful and are filled with Victorian style furniture. The staff is very accommodating and friendly throughout...
