The evening we checked in the motel on the river it was a Comfort Inn. The very nice desk clerk told us when we woke up the next morning the staff would be wearing different colored shirts and the motel would be renamed Quality Inn...More
This hotel was hard to find, but once found it was good enough. What I found odd was how the one window that opened to a foot-trafficked hallway made me feel like a fish in an Aquarian. Would I stay there again? I'd shop around...More
Our entire experience from check in to check out has been so nice. The clerk was super nice and very accommodating and helpful. That’s so very nice when after traveling all day someone greets you with a smile and is pleasant to deal with. The...More

Thank you all for your honest answers. We are in Harrisburg, which is the capital and is a smaller city. We don't have exciting things happen in our part of the neighborhood. In all, it's actually pretty quiet. The historic district of Shipoke is to the right of us, and downtown to the left. We are within walking distance to what is called restaurant row, and having shopping and other activities to do locally as well. This is a very diverse neighborhood, and we love the different people that come all from our little city of Harrisburg. We are staffed 24 hours a day for our guest's; and our hotel, since it's an open lot, is surveilled 24 hours a day as well.
