Our first visit occurred in November 2014. The wife and I wanted to find a quiet get-away with cozy atmosphere reflecting a bit of the old-time, roadside inns of an earlier era. Settlers Inn presented us with such a place. The inn is not elaborate yet offers comfortable rooms with a slight hint of the rustic and an attached restaurant... More

My wife and I stopped at the inn the night before Thanksgiving, as a midpoint stay during our road trip to celebrate the holiday with family in Connecticut. We chose the bed and breakfast because it wasn't too far off our intended route, had cozy looking rooms, and great reviews. Mostly we were not disappointed. We stayed in room 211,... More

We went here because of the excellent trip advisor reviews and were completely impressed. It's such a nice place to go, you can dress up and not be out of place. We went on a Saturday night and there was a piano player taking requests. The food was out of this world. We both had different versions of filet (one... More

From the moment we were cheerfully greeted by the woman at the front desk to the day we left, the people working there were professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The wine tasting in the afternoon was a delight as was just chillin near the real log fireplace. Cozy and comfortable. A great laid... More

We reached the inn earlier than we planned but were able to check in with no problems. All the staff is pleasant.personable and professional, we felt welcomed from every member. Our room was small but spotless and cozy. I got a chance to peek in the other rooms and have picked out some favorites for our next stay. We stayed... More

My wife and I stayed over in room 102 on 11-12-16 and what a great time. The Settlers Inn had a wine tasting going on, but my wife and I Just sat in front of the huge fire place and drank red wine. Everyone was social and funny. Great music piped in and at around 6:30 a pianist came in... More

We were staying at the inn celebrating our 35th anniversary and made reservations for dinner. We were greeted by an extremely talented pianist who made dinner a memorable experience. The soups were delicious I had the baked onion soup and my wife had the squash soup. I had a pork chop that was 2-1/2" thick with an incredible pistachio sauce... More

We came for a small wedding hosted at the Inn and stayed two days. Our room was small but clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was mostly very good. Breakfast is included.

The property is amazing, and Terri the manager is professional and comforting. The food is amazing and the bar tender makes the best hand crafted cocktails. The river out back is "settling" ;) Thank you for a good memory.

Enjoyed our two night stay in this older, charming hotel. There was always a fire blazing in the fireplace in the large lobby, with plenty of seating near the fire, and a small bar just off the lobby. The decor and furnishings were what I would consider to be craftsman, and totally in keeping with the character of the hotel.... More
