This was a very convient location close to Hershey Park. They had a shuttle that takes you back and forth to the park by request. The hotel had everything we needed. The breakfast included was fantastic, the staff was excellent, including the shuttle driver! I would def recommend Days Inn for your stay in Hershey.
The good first....clean rooms with mini refrigerator, comfy beds and pillows with a great view of the town. The workers were always very nice and helpful. Now for the not so good, the wireless internet was terrible. At any given time it would disconnect. If I was on my iPad for 10 minutes, 8 minutes I would need to reconnect and half the time it couldn’t even find it! My other complaint Is daily in room safe fee and in room safe sales tax. To be honest, we did use the safe but talk about junk fee! If every room has a safe they should include this fee in the room rate. I would still stay here however guests should be informed up front of this fee.
My family and I recently made a day trip to Hershey, PA. We capped off the evening taking in a Hershey Bears hockey game. But the real delight of our stay was the Day Inn Hershey. We were so pleased and satisfied with our stay. The staff, our rooms and the accommodations, like the pool, were all great. Like I said we went to Hershey for the day and a game but we will return because of the Days Inn Hershey.
We went and stayed at the Days Inn Hershey for the Hershey Half Marathon. Staff was friendly, the check in process was smooth. They provided a list of restaurants within walking and driving distance. Super helpful, since Hershey was a very busy town with the race! Our room was clean, and I was surprised that it came with both a microwave and a refrigerator- super helpful for us on a race day! Only thing was that the bathroom, while clean and relatively updated, the bathtub didn’t drain very well. That’s really my only complaint!Nice, clean and SO CLOSE to the park! Can’t beat that!
This was our second stay at the Days Inn. The first time we had a wonderful experience. However, the second time was a little different.
The front desk staff was very rude 90% of the time. This started from before we even arrived when I called asking some questions regarding my reservation a week prior.
Calling for the shuttle bus was accompanied by an attitude almost every time, like we were inconviencing them. We waited 27 minutes one time and the hotel was only 5 minutes from Chocolate world. They really need to have set pick up times in order to avoid any type of mix ups. It was very frustrating basically getting scolded that we needed to be waiting out there and talking to us like we were children.
Besides the front desk staff, all of other staff was FANTASTIC. The continental breakfast was delicious and was a major perk of staying there.
All in all, we would probably come back to this hotel. But the front desk staff need some lessons in hospitality.
