Wish we could give this a "25" gold star rating. From the 1st call making the reservations to the final good-bye, we were thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, Kayla greeted and gave us a tour of the house before being shown our incredibly clean and inviting room. The next morning, beautiful music and a wonderful aroma filled the air as we...

We stayed in the attic room. It had a wonderful view of the grounds. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop balcony. The home was comfortable and inviting. The only drawback was the breakfast. Though adequate, it was not the best we have had.

We went off for a little autumn second honeymoon. We picked Solvang because it was part of the Huntingdon area which is accessible by train from Pittsburgh. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was on the top floor and it had a wonderful rooftop balcony that overlooks much of the property. The balcony can be a great place to...

This Inn is superlative in both hospitality and amenities. The innkeeper is outstanding and makes you feel at home and welcome. The room was wonderful, the grounds beautiful, and breakfast amazing. You are only 30 minutes to State College. Also close to Raystown lake and just outside of Huntingdon.

Visited the inn with my husband whilst on our honeymoon. The inn is secluded and has a lot of greenery around the area ideal for relaxing walks (however was far to wet when we were there). Beautiful settings. The room was perfext. Very large and clean. Complimentary beveridges available in the study. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were exeptional and we...

We booked here for a Penn State football weekend as it was less than half the price of rooms in State College. Our room was on the third floor and included a huge bedroom with a king bed, window seat, a desk and several other chairs in addition to a separate room with twin beds tucked under the eaves so...

One option on this property is a replica Norwegian "stabbur" - a log cabin type building that is more luxury than cabin. If you are of Scandinavian heritage you will especially appreciate it. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and unique. The main living quarters are up a flight of stairs, but the staff helps with luggage. If you stay in this...

The Inn and the staff are outstanding. Couldn't have picked a more perfect locale for our wedding night and entertaining out of town guests (all of us, hotel snobs!). This was top notch. Breakfast was impeccably set with antique Wedgewood China and Waterford Crystal, I truly felt like a queen! We will be back for each anniversary.

Peaceful, quiet, refined and such a host... Do not miss if you are around. It would be a mistake not to mention the breakfast, it was delicious along with a nice background music. No noise in the area, so peaceful and such a beautiful nature, well trimmed gardens

The room I stayed in was reasonable priced, very clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious. The living room was cozy and comfortable-I spent the evening reading downstairs and was very comfortable. I would definitely go back!
