The lodge is located in the tranquility of the hills. Locations of the chalets was well thought through and you have beautiful nature views from the seating decks. The chalet was very clean, spacious and beds are comfortable. Each chalet has an outdoor shower, which we enjoyed using. We opted for a breakfast and dinner package; the meals looked appetizing...

We spent 2 nights in Manyatta Rock and were absolutely charmed! It's situated on the top of a hill in the middle of a private game reserve and has stunning views over the reserve! The chalets are well equipped with nice bathroom and outside shower, each with lots of privacy and terrace with stunning views! The service and food was...

What a breathtaking view, no matter where you are in the rock camp!! This is one beautiful Game Reserve. Sound of Lions roaring at night, to sights of the Big 5 while you drive in & out of the camp.. One needs to be careful once you drive in the gates, you have animals roaming around.. Moments for the camera...

I would highly recommend this game reserve, everything from start to finish was amazing. The lodges are very rustic and comfortable, so nice to sit on your decking early morning and hear the birds and see the monkeys playing. The pool is nice and feels like your own private pool, there are only 29 lodges so it never seems busy....

What interested us about this resort was the idea of a unique rock camp, which, coupled with the elephant interaction, made this a preferred destination over the myriad of other wonderful bush camps in the region. We arrived to very friendly staff that were clearly overworked but trying their best to accommodate the number of international guests. We were initially...

We had a wonderful time. A true luxury getaway in the heart of the Bushveld. The staff went above an beyond and the food was delicious. Beautiful setting, breathtaking views. Definately worth a second visit

We visited in April this year and left a little disappointed. We were not informed that this reserve has no big cats on it and to be honest that was one of the main reasons for going on safari. It does have elephants (although they hid from us on our drives) rhino's, Zebra, crocodiles and the different antelope etc. Due...

Thank you for your review. On our website we do not promote that we have lions on the reserve, we have 3 of the big 5, wild elephants, rhinos and you will occasionally see leopard if you are lucky as the bush is very thick. Our guides are well trained and do focus on other interesting facts about the bush...

The reserve has little to offer. Very few animals and too small. The rooms are ok but average in terms of finishing. The staff is not as friendly as one would expect in an African lodge. Specifically the management is not up to level and this reflects on the rest of the team. A special positive point for one of...

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We do have very good guides and Sven, although a youngster is as you say very passionate about the bush and so are all our other rangers. We focus mainly on Kruger Park Safaris and offer shorter game drives on our reserve. It is a pity...
