Loved the place! Best staff i met in the whole of Nicaragua! Every single one of them is so helpful and friendly! The breakfast is really good every day! The rooftop bar is also cool. Just pretty faultless all round!! #1 in san juan del sur!!!!!!

I stayed here for 6 nights and was pleased overall. Definitely try to get a dorm on the second floor; the first floor is where everyone hangs out/smokes and is near the kitchen. It's not a party hostel but some nights were louder than others and the doors to the dorm room stay open for most of the night. The...

This hostel is alright, fairly big, nothing special. It's not as crazy as some of the party hostels, but that does spill over to Casa Oro some nights. There is no one place for everyone to hang out, the hostel is very scattered. Lots of tours available. Moderately clean, not quite worth $13 a night for the dorm.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel and appreciated all the extras that came with it. Free breakfast and free yoga classes as well as very convenient shuttle service to all the beaches. I stayed in the second floor dorms and they were very clean, comfortable and breezy/cool at night.

We enjoyed our time at Casa Oro. It is in a great spot and has an excellent kitchen. The private room was great the only thing is they charge extra for aircon and I don't remember the exact rate but it was outrageous!! The hostel was quite which was nice. Breakfast wasnt great but I am really fussy about my...

Casa Oro was good. It was well priced and had nice private rooms. Comfortable bed, space, fans, (air con available), good bathroom. The kitchen and seating areas were good. Rooftop bar was great. Location great. Only downfall were the staff. The women working reception were clueless and very vague- about everything. I would still return though and suggest this hostel...

I was walking around for a hostel, and this was the only one with a free bed. Luckily for me! Very beautiful and colorful, lots of cool places to hang out, free yoga twice a day and free breakfast in the morning that is actually eatable! If you are on a budget, this is the perfect place to stay.

We stayed in a dorm for three nights and felt really good here. Staff was actually very helpfull and attentive. They let me use the locker even after I checked out. Breakfasts are actually pretty good. Kitchenette is perfect, but you are cooking in front of everyone. Lots of places to chill. Great surfing academy in the house.

This is a walk in hostel, but we were lucky that when we arrived there was a room for three that suited us perfectly with a set of bunks and a large bed. We opted not to pay extra for the AC and just used the ceiling fan. The day we arrived the staff had organized a soccer game down...

My partner and I decided to take a surf lesson with the crew out of Casa Oro. The guy that runs it was nice, and our instructor Donovan was excellent as well. He's an American teaching and practiced a precise technique along with safety. I was a bit nervous and his style put me at ease... Not to mention he's...
