Ali and the team were warm and inviting and cooked a delicious included breakfast for us every morning. The room and shared bathroom was clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to cook in with plenty of storage in the fridge. Highly recommend this place.

I love The Secret Cove Inn. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and affordable and the location is on a quiet street, right in the center of town. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We made a reservaton via booking.com for one night and we got the confirmation for that. Later we received a message from The Secret Cove Inn that during the holiday season they require a two day minimum stay at higher rates than shown by booking.com and that they do not have a room for one night nor a room at... see review from hotel of josue506. Guest arrived at noon, angry, demanded room, insisted check in was noon, advised room not ready, insisted his paperwork said noon, didn't have paperwork with noon check in. Politely he was asked to wait 20 or 30 minutes, to go to lunch and we would secure his luggage until he returned. He wasn't happy... More

Agree with the reviewer that it seems cozy at first. Stayed in the downstairs room that has window opening to the atrium dining area. We stayed 2 nights and discovered that there were bed bugs on the box springs and possibly the headboard. My partner was bitten probably 60 + times. We killed one and showed it and the box... More

On the rates page of their website it does not mention shared bathrooms. Unfortunately I had to share a bathroom with a couple of fellows who had no bathroom manners at all. Internet usually did not work in my room, so I needed to be out in the lounge area to use it. I did love the fact I could... More

The place seems cozy from the very first look. We arrived spontaneously to SJDS and after visiting a few other places (that were either too expensive or too cheap and messy) we thought the Secret Cove was a good decision. Room was big enough and we had a shared bathroom. We particularly didn't like that the only windows of the... More

Friendly staff, nice house in a quiet street. It could have been perfect but in our room there were bedbugs. We found that out in the first night, as no staff was present or reachable, we figured out that they lived in the wooden head part of the bed, which we moved out. This solved the problem. And we decided... More

Stayed here for 5 nights after just stumbling upon the place! Perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and to the shops and bars, but far enough away to not hear any noise. The house is beautiful and modern with an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area. Every morning we had an amazing breakfast like eggs, rice and beans, toast,... More

I am usually satisfied with the very simplest of hostels, such as the ones with just a bed and no a/c. Even a shared bath. But this place was reserved by a friend who HAD to have a/c, so I figured if she was paying, why not enjoy it? :D We shared the room, and since there was only one... More
