Loved my stay here, the place has a great atmosphere and laid back vibes. so chilled out!! You will fall in love with their super sweet, lovely, adorable staff who make you feel like a family. The place itself is so green and shady with so many tropical trees and plants. Playa Marsella's wonderful. I practically had the amazing beach...

Casa Pelon is situated in a beautiful location on playa Marcella and offers neat and tidy rooms, a comfortable communal area and hearty breakfasts. The atmosphere and level of care make you feel as if you are a guest in someone's home. The owners and staff work hard to offer a high level of service and hospitality and they are...

Amazing place! I was told about Casa Pelon by another traveller I met and it didn't disappoint. Definitely one of the best places I've stayed so far. Perfect location (right on the beach), great staff and chilled vibes. Definitely stay here - I'll be back for sure.

My husband and I stayed our final few days here and are SO glad we did. This is an amazing location overlooking beautiful playa Marsella, just minutes from Maderas. It is more suitable for swimming but we did enjoy taking out their boogie board one afternoon. Paddle boards are for rent just down the beach as well. The room was...

We happened upon Casa Pelon as we were trying to find an available hostel near Playa Marsella. Pelon was yet another continuation of an amazing trip to Nica. Mark and Rex are amazing hosts. Within minutes they make you feel like family and suddenly you're at home. Not only was daily breakfast included (including Mark's home-smoked bacon...yummm) but you may...

I had the please of staying at Casa Pelon with Mark & Rex this December. Mark has a lovely home feet from the Beach located between SJDS and Playa Madera (the surf beach). Christian and Maria who work at Mark's Casa are super friendly and helpful. (Maria's breakfast is award winning!) The single rooms are basic but the common area...

We had tried to book a different B&B but then found Casa Pelon...once we arrived in PM, we were thrilled to be staying here. Mark's house is just a skip to the beach, and there is a great restaurant a short walk up the road. (Not the one on the hill, the blue one right on the road). The house...

I haven't stayed overnight at Casa Pelon, however I am so fortunate to have spent time on the patio enjoying the sunset while sampling thick chewy beef jerky, perfectly seasoned bacon, tender moist smoked ham and wonderful smoked chicken and fish that was prepared at Mark's little paradise on Marsella Beach. The operation at Casa Pelon is more than just...

I stayed here for a night while backpacking in Nicaragua with my boyfriend and a friend. The setting is beautiful, right on the beach with nature walks and little beach restaurants super close (stones trow away). Mark is super nice and helpful, he organized taxis to town for us and has great travel advice for the country! Highly advise staying...

Casa Pelon was an awesome experience at an amazing value. The house is beautiful with an open kitchen/front porch with a killer view of the ocean only about a 100 yards away. Rooms were cozy and clean. Mark was an excellent host, super courteous and accommodating, and literally makes you feel right at home. After meeting and getting to know...

“The are two adjoining rooms but they do lock. The bathroom is adjoined to one of the bedrooms, but it locks (just remember to lock and unlock it). The one closest to the bathroom had a closet and was much bigger than the room next to it. The smaller room and a lot of windows (with screens) and if you leave them open at night, it's like sleeping in a tent.”
