I stayed 6 nights at casa de olas with my friends. Positive things is the beautiful view, the big pool and the tasty family dinner. The smaller dorms are nice and you have breakfast included. But if you're not a crazy party person that's where the positive things end. They play loud music from early in the morning until late...

Have been traveling for just over a year around Central and South America and Europe and this has by far been one of the best hostels to date. The atmosphere is lively and fun, the staff and owners go out of their way to make sure you're having a good time, the free breakfast in the morning is delicious and...

Staying at Casa de Olas was the best decision I made whilst travelling through Central America. People often contemplate between staying at the Naked Tiger and Casa, however, after hearing reviews from a few friends of mine about their experiences, I was sure I made the best decision. The free breakfasts, comfort of the room and the exceptional staff made...

My friends and I (3 adults) stayed for 6 nights at Casa de Olas and absolutely loved it. The place is really nice and the staff members are really fun to hang around with. Rooms are clean, not hot water (although the water does not get super cold) and free wifi is available. No doubt you'll be making new friends...

Casa means home in Spanish and boy did I feel at home at Casa! If you're going to San Juan you must stay there, great vibes, great people! The owners are lovely and super chill. I'd recommend this hostel to everyone :) Ps the bar staff smashed it as well ;)

I don't normally write reviews but do yourself a favour and get to this place. You will come here for a day and stay a week. Amazing pool, bar and amazing sunsets. Clean, private and secure rooms. Thank you Freddy and Carla and your amazing staff. I'll be back

Absolutely awesome hostel. Nicest people at the bar - all because of Fred and Carla's hiring policy I would say. Watch out for a guy named harry Marshall, he's a real pool shark. Note: can flush toilet paper there, or at least I was..

where do i start? stayed there July 2015 and im only writing my review now (feb 2017). This hostel is just awesome. From the insanely friendly owners to the most legendary bar staff that seem to learn everyone's names fairly quickly this place makes you feel right at home. I loved the communal feel and the super chilled vibe. The...

It was a lengthy decision whether to stay in Naked Tiger or Olas for three days during Sunday Funday. I think I chose correct. You can still party in Tiger but actually get some rest too. Sunset from either one is unbelievable and should already narrow your hostel choice down to these two. Free shuttle takes you to town and...

Casa de Olas, is a unique place to stay, blending the best of Bed & Breakfast, hotel and hostel together to create the Casa de Olas experience. We are situated on a hilltop over-looking the town and bay of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Our location provides endless views over the Pacific ocean with spectacular sunsets nightly. Casa De Olas is designed for the more discerning backpacker and budget travelers who are looking to find an oasis of luxury at affordable prices. In total we have 10 rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 75 guests at any one time. We have dorm rooms that can accommodate from 4-6 people with one room housing 14. Casa de Olas is designed for those traveling on a budget or in groups. All rooms are spacious with en-suites. We think staying a little out of town is the best way to experience all that San Juan del Sur and the surrounding area has to offer.
