The Il Plauffo is a lovely place with a medieval charme outside, and the perfect mixture between the medieval charme and luxury on the inside. When we arrived, the owner first gave us a warm welcome and then gave us a free house tour where we learned about Il Paluffo's history as a olive oil farm. Then, we got a...

Wow. The beauty of this place is truly stirring. The staff were also very nice and helpful, so many great activities such as making pizza and wine tastings, the bio pool is great, loved our room as well. Would recommend this place without a second thought and will tell everyone that will listen! Love it - a must see.

We had a wonderful 3-room apartment (Torre) which was spacious, well appointed and charming - with a private outside garden. The views from the pool and from our apartment were amazing, The service is very friendly, the common areas really nice. We took a 2-hour pasta cooking class which was great fun for kids and adults. Access to Florence, Siena...

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Paluffo. Our flat was great, the swimming pool was amazing and the staff, from manager to housekeeper, was just lovely and helpful throughout. The swimming pool is of course the highlight of the place and it is truly spectacular - just incredibly beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights in the "Torre" apartment, which...

This is a perfect spot for a Tuscan retreat to enjoy the sun, wine and local food. The building itself is incredible and immaculately maintained with a lot of character which gives it its appeal over sanitised designed hotels in Tuscany. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pasta making lesson we had organised for us was heaps of fun...

The best way to enjoy il Paluffo stay is to rent a car or a vespa, we can arrange the reservation if made with a reasonable time in advance in peace season. Our activities requires a minimum number or participants that sometimes we cannot get. Thanks a lot for your stay and we hope to meet you again! Arrivederci Liana...

To start with the owners where around all the time, Luca had the time and the patience to explain me in details the history of the place, and showed me the tunels that starts from the kitchen. Liana on the other hand showed us the room in a way that made me fell as I was visiting a museum, she...

My husband and I and my daughter and her husband stayed at Il Paluffo for 2 magical days/nights in May and have not stopped talking about it. It is a wonderful respite (not that Tuscany needs a respite!) in the heart of Tuscany. While they do not serve dinner the breakfasts are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in...

This agriturismo is eco-friendly and very ancient. The nature pool is very comfortable, from the beach chairs you have the most stunning view of the Tuscan hills, with the changing colours every hour until sunset. Room is museum-like, not very practical. But the atmosfere of Paluffo is unique. Only for quiet and relaxing vacation, not much to do. Nearest restaurant...

We were very excited to book Il Paluffo after seeing it in the lonely planet and reading the 5 star reviews on trip advisor. We arrived to a beautiful hotel in the hills of Tuscany. The manageress was courteous and polite. Our room/unit was as per the gallery on the website and within the secure Eco-lodge. We had one evening...

Dear guests, the Paluffo is located in a very calm and secure area, in the last 6 years of activity we get only one intrusion by a thief that took some cash. The Paluffo apartments and manor house are secured by sturdy doors and windows steel made with smash proof glass, in each bedroom the guest can find a safe...
