We stayed here one night and had a great stay. We had never been to Brighouse before but found it to be a lovely small market town. The hotel is positioned next to a picturesque canal with nice walks in either direction. The town itself has a few pubs and restaurants including an Italian restaurant at the hotel itself. Bethel... We arrived late at night and we're given a warm welcome from the gent at reception. We had booked two rooms. Both small but quite adequate for the price. My room was fine but the other had a very bad smell. Not sure what the smell was, damp perhaps? We were only there for one night so put up with... More

The bed was not brilliant and the person i was with was not happy at all. The lift well that closed the person i was in the lift which nearly had their arm off. It was very close in the lift you could say 2 people in there that is all you could get. Overall i would not recommend it.... More

On arriving at this hotel we looked for parking and none, however after about an hour the car parking space became available, The hotel looked nice as one entered the lobby, after that it became a little uncomfortable, Carpets were thread bare, and a lift that you had to watch its inner door, on reaching the room, i felt as... Thank you for your review. We completely agree with you on the subject of the carpets. As you are probably aware the hotel is undergoing a huge refurbishment programme and our new carpets for the corridors and stairs have been ordered. Obviously we can't have them fitted until the work in the bedrooms is complete but that is only a... More

Room was spotless clean, had everything you need. Flat screen tv, hairdryer, tea coffee facility, large bright bathroom with modern shower and a comfy bed. We were in room 308. Breakfast was fantastic with excellent choices and nice friendly wait staff. Highly recommend this hotel and would def stay here again.

This is a mid-range, reasonably priced, pleasant and clean hotel. No issues at all (however parking on the day difficult but only due to a local festival, which was actually excellent!). Normally parking is just outside and reasonably priced. Clean comfortable, but basic rooms, pleasant staff, and no hassle.

I'm not one to complain, but we really weren't impressed with this hotel. To start the room was very small and very poorly ventilated, meaning that through the night the room got hotter and hotter making it unbearable to sleep. Also there was an aircon unit right outside the window which was going all night which also made it more... More
