Hard to find as the entrance sign says Brooks Restaurant and in corner Gomersal Lodge Hotel in tiny print. No reception, 2 people in room but only 1 set towels, cups were dirty. No manager to complain to. The front door was open at 11.30pm but no one around and even at 8.30am still no one around. Sent email to...

We attended a friends special day they were renewing their wedding vows, we walked in and the building was so light and airy with such a welcoming atmosphere, the staff were absolutely amazing and the service everyone provided was second to none, the personal touches that the staff provided were I think above and beyond what was expected of them,...

Please could I ask if you could move your review to the page of the restaurant who hosted your event, Brooks at The Lodge. Thank you.

There has been plenty of negative reviews about this hotel and to be honest I don't understand why. You get a comfy bed, clean sheets and towels and breakfast if you want it. The hotel is set in lovely grounds and for the price you can't go wrong. The staff are so helpful, Naz the hotel manager couldn't have done...

I recently stayed here after the alleged refurbishment. It was awful. The staff were rude and the place wasn't clean. The restaurant was the worst part. The food was really bad and under cooked, service was very slow and staff were rude. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!

Thank you for taking the time to review Gomersal Lodge Hotel, your comments have been noted and I apologise for your bad experience. I would point out though, that the restaurant is now owned by a different business, Brooks at The Lodge and is not run by the Hotel. This has been a recent change and I would assume that...

Check in at this hotel is at 2pm so imagine my surprise to have turned up at 3.15 on saturday afternoon, to be met by two cars in the cars of customers that had already been there over an hour waiting to check in as there was not a single member of staff at the hotel just a builder doing...

My Girlfriend and I fancied a quiet New Years Eve away and ended making a last minute booking at Gomersal Lodge. After making the booking I discovered the reviews online but decided for the amount paid (£39 for the pair of us) it was worth the risk for one night. After arriving we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely surroundings...

Stayed here for one night with some business colleagues. Looks like it's much improved over previous reviews although it is odd that The restaurant wasn't open at 8pm and the residents bar shuts at 10pm (we had to eat out so no catering review). Rooms are ok although the showers are the worlds smallest (small bathrooms) overall it was an...

Where to begin? The gomersal lodge hotel is, without exaggeration, the worst hotel i've ever visited. The staff were unhelpful, the restaurant had over booked and was unable to honour all of its bookings, the carpets were threadbare and dirty and it had a dank, musty smell, rather like the kitchens at an old folks home. We managed to find...
