We were attending a wedding at Burley in Wharfedale and rather than have an hours journey home decided to stay the night. Premier Inn was £70 without breakfast and Wheatley was £75 including breakfast so it was an easy decision to make. The room was small but very nice. Thick robes included and even hair straighteners. Plenty of tea and... More

I take my elderly mother each time I go up to see her. Flat entrance from disabled parking and always friendly welcome The fish pie is my usual choice with local Mary Jane beer, named after the lady in "on ilkla moor baht 'at" Close to Ben Rhydding station if you're coming from Leeds or Bradford

We booked a room at the last minute and ended up with a lovely one . W4H. Funny name but is a very nice turned out room, clean, tidy and well stocked. Breakfast was fine and I would stay again for a special occasion.

I met 7 friends here at 1.15 on a Sunday lunchtime, this building looks like an old house that has been converted into a restaurant, it was very busy on entering and the first Sunday of the month has a live jazz trio playing in one of the rooms, there are many rooms and I reckon about 100 people sat... This is our local which we have eaten/drunk at regularly since it opened. The food is excellent and wines are sensibly priced and good local beers too. However, when booking we were not advised there was a loud wedding reception. The music was the loudest we have ever heard it and this is the first time we could hear it... More

I booked this hotel based on the customer feedback and was right to. I booked one night bed and breakfast with a luxury room. The room was outstanding! Boutique style and quality furnishings. I was on the top floor so be prepared for steep staircases! There is no lift. The property is all of very good standard. Evening dinner was... More

Great pub been for drinks thought we would try Sunday lunch. Disappointing. Bland and uninteresting. Vegetables cold. Not worth the money. Maybe different with usual menu but not sure I would return for food.

Only stayed one night but wished it was more. Loved the location. Nice welcome. Good parking. Warm cosy and welcoming on a cold day. We loved our room. Comfortable, clean and warm. Bed was sooo comfortable didn't want to get out of it!! Sat in the lovely lounge for a drink and ended up having soup and bread. Very good.... More

We stopped here to visit old friends on our way up to the Dales. Nothing wrong with the decor or the friendliness of the staff but since our friends had recommended this place we had researched menus and decided on the "Charcuterie Board". Check their website, it's supposed to come with cured meats, local cheeses, aoili, gerkins, olive tapenade, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, I'm sorry that your Charcuterie Board was missing some of the items listed, I have spoken with the chef to ensure this doesn't happen again. Had you said something at the time this would have been rectified immediately. Just to clarify the Smoked and Cured Meats are from our Local... More
