1 night in Amesbury before heading off to Stonehenge. This is a little way out of town (about a 10-12 minute walk) - to get to Amesbury you need to use the underpass which is well lit but would probably not have come back at...More

I was pleasantly surprised by this travelodge. The room was really clean. Could not hear the nearby road in the room. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. 10 minute walk into Amesbury! Will be staying again.

There is a small Burger King outlet and also a Little Chef on site but lots of places to eat nearby. Great carvery in Amesbury, about 2 miles away, on Sunday’s at The George Hotel, reasonable home cooked food, very tasty.
