I visited for a spa and afternoon tea package, excellent offer from hotel's website. Beautiful hotel in a tranquil location. A perfect place for escapism. Very friendly staff and luxurious spa. Take advantage of the outdoor pool, even in February the pool was warm. The spa was quiet, had several steam rooms and a relaxation room. I defiantly recommend the...

A wonderfully comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The hotel is charming with interesting features both inside and in the fabulous grounds. Our room was lovely, the food in the restaurants was delicious and the staff were courteous and attentive, with the wonderful Ryan looking after our party so well that he definitely enhanced our experience of Whatley Manor.

We have been for 1 night midweek break, with fine dining. The hotel is excellent quality. Staff very polite and helpful. The room was very nice with good size bed. all very modern and clean. the spa is very good standard for relaxation. The only downside is the gourmand restaurant. It used to have 2 michelin stars, but as the chef...

My husband and I stayed here arriving on a Monday lunchtime. Valet parking, swift with the bags and an upgrade to a suite, fantastic! All the staff without exception are polite and attentive. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, I particularly liked the bathroom and the l'occtaine products which smelt great. I spent the afternoon in the spa and...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. The spa was fantastic, spotlessly clean with friendly staff and great facilities. For an unknown reason the pool felt a little cold on the first day but was nice and warm the following. The room was great, everything we needed and more with nice views of the buildings and gardens. The restaurant, decorated with a...

A lovely manor house and very good quality hotel. Hospitality was very good, food excellent but too many courses for me. The only issue was that we ordered a bottle of New Zealand wine but were presented a bottle of Spanish and charged for the NZ. The error was quickly rectified, we will certainly go there again. The Spa was...

Amazing 2Mich Star restaurant (12 course tasting menu), superb service throughout from housekeeping to the restaurant, to the general manager (who went out of her way to meet every guest). Apparently they have 75 staff for about 40 guests, and it felt like your every need was their priority. Lovely setting. Excellent spa - one of the best we've been...

We love to hear "Wow" thank you. so pleased to have had a chance to meet you. In truth we are not 2 star Michelin at the moment. Whatley has held 2 starts for 9 years but our chef moved in in November. We have a fabulous new chef and he joins me in thank you for your kind comments....

We stayed just one night and it was a real treat. Everything was lovely: the people, the service, the food and the facilities. Our room was large and pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. Every effort was made to make us feel welcome and relaxed. A great experience which we hope to repeat.

Stayed for a night with my other half. Just what we needed: calm, comfort, good cuisine, relaxing spa, great service. Dinner in the brasserie was excellent (they offer a tartare as a starter!!!!), followed by a lovely cocktail playing boardgames by the fireplace... Just what we needed. It's luxury without too much useless sparkles. Some chefs bring the dishes to...
