I've stayed here regularly with friends when we visit the International Guitar Festival and can say with confidence that you're always sure of a warm welcome and a comfortable room at The Sherwood. All rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the full English breakfast goes from strength to strength: outstanding quality and value. The location...

I stayed with Sherrill for 8 days in early March while I was studying for a big exam. The welcome and overall time spent at Sherwood Guest House couldn't have been better. Sherrill is such a wonderful person who was a constant joy to speak with. She was perfect for when I needed to steer my focus away from my...

We couldn't fault this delightful B & B. Vivienne, the hostess, is friendly and welcoming with lots of advice and tips on where to go to eat and for site seeing. The accommodation is spotless and very well equipped though our room was fairly small. Breakfast is superb and, although continental, had a very wide choice. You certainly won't leave...

I have used this Guest House numerous times whilst visiting family in the locale on both celebratory and less happy occasions. The greeting is always warm, welcome and most importantly genuine What never ceases to amaze me is despite several months between short visits, I am remembered and welcomed as a "friend" but also some basic details of me as...

This was a very nice bed and breakfast that we visited for the weekend to see Liverpool and just have a little weekend break. On arrival Cheryl the owner greeted us and was lovely! She showed us to our room and gave us an itinerary on places we could visit in and around Liverpool. The room was lovely apart from...
