The staff are very friendly but the land lord does not not acknowledge you when you say hello and generally seems to prefer dogs to humans. The food is very good quality and the beer is kept to a high standard. The staff are willing to help and are very welcoming unlike the land lord who seems to run the...

We arrived after work in Bewdley, driving over the bridge and glancing our destination just down the quay side-a great first impression!! on negotiating our way round the quaint streets to the establishment...

Stayed here for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It's situated by the river and we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking it and enjoyed the sight of the members of the rowing club speeding past. We stayed in the Apple Blossom room which was at the top of the building with lovely views and had everything...

First problem was the lack of specials and the second was the lengthy wait, when we arrived we were the only diners in the dining room and the bar was not busy. My...

We spent 5 days at the Mug House and it was amazing. Check in was a breeze and problem free. You are on the River Severn with perfect outside seating and an amazing view, about 30 feet above the water. Loved the ducks, swans and boating club across the water. The car park is about 2 blocks away, so drive...

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer! A very quirky Georgian inn. The setting couldn't be better, right in front of the river. We could hear the swans and ducks from our room but that just added to the charm. Our room was lovely. At the top of the...

stopped off at the Mug House for a late afternoon Sunday lunch. Good and efficient service. The roast dinner portions are enormous and great value, but it would be nice if they also offered half portions for less hungry adults. We were very impressed that beef came medium rare as requested. Roast potatoes were good and not soggy. Two of...
