I typically pick our family accommodation for short breaks and rarely get it wrong. We have stayed in some wonderful properties with top class service at reasonable prices. I had high hopes for this establishment but I have to say that this is the first time I have really got my research wrong. The house is easy enough to find,...

We have just returned from pewterers house , beautiful quaint B&B, we stayed in the twin room, immaculate, very powerful shower comfy beds everything you need, very very nice breakfast all cooked by Barbara the lady who runs it, parking a bit tricky but once you have parked you can forget about the car because you won't need it, very...

Centrally located - easy access by foot to local attractions - Bewdley museum is excellent and so is their triple espresso - parking was easy but then we were not driving a stretch limo. Room clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. The owner was welcoming, helpful and full of useful bits of information.

Don't go it you want to arrive before 4pm - ourselves and other guests received something similar by email from the propriertor "Arrival later rather than earlier, if possible as I have to take my mother-in-law to the hairdressers! I will be home around 4pm" and when questioned "if you arrive before I get back, it should only be for...

Can only really repeat what many other contributors have posted. Excellent location, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, welcoming host. We stayed in the King Suite and unlike one other reviewer, managed to cope with the walk of four yards from our bedroom door to the separate, well appointed bathroom. Ok, you can see down to the front door from the landing,...

I stayed here just one night and felt very welcome. My satnav couldn't find the address but a phone call to Barbara (owner) and I was given very clear instructions how to find it. Situated just a few minutes walk from the town centre this is a very good base for exploring. My room was nice with a comfortable bed....

I booked a room at Pewterers House because a work colleague recommended how pleasant it was when he stayed there, I was thrilled by the service despite my already high expectations. I work in Bewdley on a short term basis (3-4 weeks at a time, weekdays only) and book accommodation there Monday-Thursday and commute back to London Friday afternoon. Usually...

My husband and I had a great couple of days in Bewdley. We thought Pewterers House was a very cosy place, extremely homely, very clean and the breakfast excellent. The lady owner is very pleasant and able to cater for different dietary requirements. I am dairy intolerant and it was not a problem. The room we had was perfectly adequate...

Made very welcome indeed - a lovely house, comfortable rooms with everything we needed - plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits. Super breakfast - all in all an excellent place to stay - lots to do nearby. Steady 5 min stroll into town over the bridge - lots of choice for eating or just having a drink and watching the world...

Once upon a time a Pewtersmith lived in Bewdley and this was his house. Even today a Pewtersmith signs his work with a 'Touchmark' and historically it authenticated his work and gave the quality of the Pewter along with an indication of where his workshop was. Today Barbara is her own 'Touchmark', making sure every last detail is attended to....

“If you do want to book this B & B insist you get the one with the wardrobe, bath and shower”
rawdon_tyke, 2 Aug 2013 | Read review
“I stayed in the 'King's Suite', ideal for whatever duration of stay. The bed is large and very comfortable and overlooks the river. It couldn't have been cleaner and the way the layout of the house works, you basically live in your own quarters separate from the other rooms; perfect if you’re after maximum privacy. The bathroom is 4 steps outside the door of the room (but again in a private area of the house so it doesn’t matter), and is nothing short of a 5* hotel. Sizeable shower, bath where the taps and centred, tiled floors, a number of complimentary wash/bathroom products on offer and generally a nice classic bathroom appeal.”
