The Kitchen menu is very small with evening meals from pre-prepared, pre-cooked almost microwave-like meals. In a way if I'd have known that's what the standard here was, I'd have gone to Frankie and Benny's or McDonalds across the car park; disappointing. The room was like every other premier inn room we have stayed in, in terms of design. We... More

Friendly staff and most efficient But if you want a early night avoid Rooms 110 and 112 as they are directly under the kitchens of the restaurant also if you are the light sleeper the kitchens reopen for breakfast around seven a AM so all in all I managed about 5 1/2 hours sleep. As advertised the beds are fantastic... More

I have stayed at this Premier Inn many times and I have always had the feeling that the poor service, poor food, and lack of free parking have been because there aren't a great deal of choice of places to stay in Kidderminster and this has led to them taking advantage of residents. My last visit 13-15 October was the... More

Lovely hotel in a great location. Stayed here for 2 nights. I visited with my partner who was working in Kidderminster for the weekend. Staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was chaotic on the Sunday morning. The restaurant was busy and although staff were obviously working hard, cooked food on the buffet breakfast was cold... More

Hotel very basic nothing special. But over 2 days despite being located in town centre staff could not produce milk that was not off and I mean very off. They simply did not want to help! Very poor - a morning cup of tea is essential to any hotel stay the staff did not understand that.

Hi David We appreciate how important a decent cuppa is to kick start the day! Therefore, I'm very concerned to hear the Kitchen restaurant couldn't provide any suitable milk during breakfast. Obviously this shouldn't be the case so I'll follow this up with the Food & Beverage manager to ensure this doesn't happen again. Darren More

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and within easy reach of shops, places to eat and of course the SVR and our trip on the Flying Scotsman Charity Day. Breakfast in the hotel was a bit rushed for us due to having an early start which was our only problem as it was a race for everyone to get... More

Love this place. Every time I go the staff cannot do enough for me, & I feel as though it is one of those places for right place, right time, for love. I would live here if I could, as the facilities are top notch, as is breakfast, the bed, the bathroom, everything, even the views over Kidderminster. I recommend... More

Specifically asked for a quiet room, was told that we had been allocated a good room, turned out to be directly under the restaurant/reception area. Was kept awake with the noise of people walking about, chairs scraping across the floor and doors or something being slammed shut until late at night, then it started again in the early hours. Very... More

We had to park in the shopping centre but as a Blue Badge holder, it was free. The hotel os in an old mill and the historical integrity has been preserved. A lift takes you to a computerised reception. Rather soulless. The room for those with disabilities was rather grim with tall, thin windows overlooking the car park. The wet... More

An unusual and quirky Premier Inn, set in an old mill. Yes, you do have to go up to the top floor for reception and breakfast and then down to the lower floor for your room, but who cares?! It's a fascinating building with wonderful exposed brick on the staircase which is a great feature. There is a lift for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This hotel is a grade II listed converted mill, with a bar that has an almost New York loft atmosphere. A great base to explore Kidderminster and the Worcestershire countryside - and we're close to West Midlands Safari Park and Severn Valley Railway too. After all the adventure, it's time for some serious relaxing in The Kitchen restaurant then in our extra-comfy beds. ... more   less
