Booked an afternoon tea for 9 of the girls as a leaving party for my friend Klare who is going back to Oz soon. We were offered a choice of manor, royal or savoury afternoon teas so we ordered a mix for us all to share. Lovely variety of sandwiches, savouries and desserts. The mini burgers and quiche on the...

Arrived at the hotel. Very busy but staff were great. Lovely room. Very pleasant stay and great value for money. I liked the buffet breakfast. Though next time I will order scrambled eggs from the kitchen.

My wife and I stopped here for a night to split the journey from Cornwall to Hadrians Wall. Since it was also our wedding anniversary we opted for a luxury room and took advantage of the restaraunt. From the minute we walked in the door until we checked out we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and it was due mostly...

Our check in was smooth and our room was on the ground floor and was small but very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The entrance to the hotel is attractive and the grounds at the back are really lovely and well...

I booked this 2 night break over bank holiday weekend for my partner and I as it was highly recommended as a Spa hotel. On arrival we went to look at the facilities which looked great but we discovered the Spa wasn't open on Sunday or Monday...very disappointing. The rest of hotel was pretty dated but our room was really...

Beautifully tucked away in lovely grounds. Only stayed for 1 night, really wish we had booked to stay longer. Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Lovely old building, with some really lovely features. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent 3 course evening meal in the dining room in the evening, superbly cooked, it was just perfect. Breakfast...

Went to the Southcrest Manor Beer Festival on Sunday 28th August and had a really good time. There was a good choice of local real ales and ciders and some nice cold Prosecco with a difference for those who did not fancy the ales. The beer token system worked well and the drinks were fairly priced for a hotel. The...
