We stayed in a spacious family room for a few days break over New Year. The room 11 had a large King Size bed and 2 singles with plenty of space to move around and views of the church opposite. The only disappointment in the room was the tiny TV positioned high on the wall in the corner of the...

Having been here for a few years on the trot for our Christmas party I felt I needed to write this review & share how nice the food was as usual. Every year we have the Christmas carvery & it really is absolutley exquisite. I had the goats cheese to start, the carvery &then cheese & biscuits platter. Absolutely gorgeos,...

Having only eaten here once before and not being that impressed we thought we would give it another go. We ate from the normal evening menu, the starters were good....4 out of 5 of us ordered the steak...there was an issue with one steak which wasn't ideally dealt with...however a new one was promised. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until everyone...

Celebration held in the Library. A perfect setting for a Sunday lunch with 16 friends. Staff extremely professional and attentive throughout the afternoon. Children catered for and made welcome. The food was amazing quality. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for dining in greater Manchester - brilliant food with great service and atmosphere. You know what you're getting here it always delivers. Relaxed atmosphere in the brasserie and restaurant just had a makeover. Really a wonderful gem.

A great evening of food and wine on the big round table. Great service too from the smartly dressed waitresses. The menu had plenty of choice, mainly fancy stuff but some great meats and fish dishes. Will go again soon.

I've visited this tastefully refurbished and extended Pub / Restaurant on a few occasions. Located in a ' Preservation area' bordering with Mossley and Saddleworth, there are stunning views and some interesting architecture. Everything from the car park to beer mats has been thought about carefully, making it a great place to dine and stay the night. The food is...

We stayed one night because we had been invited to a Friday wedding reception here. We were able to leave our bags in our room early before attending the wedding service which was good news. The room we had was really chic and modern. The bed was comfortable. A wide range of drinks were available and freshly baked biscuits on...

The combination of very friendly staff, nice rooms, perfect pub and good food made mit stay very pleasant. Special wishes dir breakfast were no problem and the many different beers made it easy to enjoy the end of the day. I highly recommend this hotel for business trips, but also as a base discovering the region.
