We have been staying here for years and I am running out of superlatives to write about this superb B&B. The rooms are well appointed, warm and stylish. The breakfast is excellent and Alice's welcome is warm. You will not find a better place to stay.

I booked a room at The Shippon for my Canadian relatives. They were delighted with the welcome from Alice, the fabulous quality of the rooms and the huge superb breakfast. The Shippon is up on a hillside with mag ificent views over Delph. It is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Saddleworth

We stayed in this delightful B&B for 2 nights. We stayed in the Galloway room, and our daughter stayed in the Ayreshire room. There are a total of 4 rooms available. All spacious and very very nicely decorated. Alice made us very welcome, and cooked us a fabulous breakfast on both mornings. I would thoroughly recommend this place to stay,...

We originally planned to get a taxi from home there and back. Luckily I looked up B&Bs in the local area and The Shippon came...

Alice, the owner, met us on arrival, showed us to our room and made us welcome. Our room, 'The Jersey' was exceptionally clean, and looked like new, The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and our...

Greeted by the landlady 'Alice' who was the perfect host, this converted cow-shed has been done up to a very high standard. We used the 'Ayrshire' room, all rooms are named after breeds of cattle for obvious reasons, very clean with a wet room to accommodate people with disabilities. Breakfast was also to a high standard with quality bacon and...
